- Aerial footage released Thursday, January 2, shows the breadth of the wildfires raging across a vast expanse of forest in Victoria, Australia earlier this week.

READ MORE: Tens of thousands of holidaymakers raced to evacuate popular seaside towns on Australia’s east coast Thursday, fleeing ahead of advancing bushfires, as military ships and helicopters began rescuing thousands more trapped by the blazes.
Fueled by searing temperatures and high winds, more than 200 fires are now burning across the southeastern states of New South Wales and Victoria, threatening several towns.
Long lines formed outside supermarkets and gas stations near high-danger areas, and shelves were emptied of staples like bread and milk, as residents and tourists sought supplies to either bunker down or escape.
More than 50,000 people were without power and some towns had no access to drinking water, after catastrophic fires ripped through the region over the past few days, sending the sky blood red and destroying towns.

It was so sad to know that countless innocent Animals were killed, I've been looking at how can I help those innocent animals, but I'm glad that I found out that if I pickup a shaving kit from Charity Shave Co, all the money goes to the Aus fires.

My heart goes out to everyone facing these fires, but this aerial footage really doesn't much to show the scale of these fires, do they? Perhaps something from 10,000 meters up could do that, but these shots just show images that could also be from a perfectly normal-sized fire.
Paul Joseph Watson has a night time aerial video on his RUclips channel and interviews with the locals.

Isolated spot fires are started by embers uplifted and driven by strong winds, some recorded even up to 20km away.

As an Aussie you're being very silly, Pyrocumoulous clouds could result in some of them, Amber attacks which start spot fires 6kms ahead of the main front and flashovers the near spontaneous ignition of fuel (pretty much when something gets heated to the point it produces flammable gases aka pyrolosis, which is the first stage of combustion)
You're subtracting from the real issue here which is climate change by spreading this ignorance.
We should be sending resources there to combat that. I just find it insane we are all humans, but if you live on a different patch of land everyone sits back and watches it burn.
There are resources from all over the world helping. You're online, 2 minutes of googling would have made you not look so dumb.

16 firefighters are from CA but honestly they have just finished a horror fire season themselves. According to the article linked their is document for firefighters interested in being dispatch but I'm in Aus so couldn't tell you who or where that document is being disrupted.
The Aus media has close to 50 suspects for starting potential fires I think this is all lit fires and then sending the military to evacuate the last few people who refused to leave and save their homes government has always had an agenda to build train lines in the exact same locations these fires are coincidently lit though that's my theory it's a damn shame if it is
