Around 35/40 psi and use an iwata eclipse with a 0.35 nozzle. Usually with just a brushful of mineral spirits mixed in or even neat didn't really experience much of an issue. Could be a problem with 0.3 and with the other colors that contain bigger granules like coelia green/carrion crimson
Been starting to do palette cleansers from my regular army painting using enamel wash weathering and a lot of the tips you provide, thanks for all the inspirations and ideas.
Love your technique, the end result look amazing. I would like to see how (if it is possible) to do gradients with different colors with oils, still cant imagine not removing the previous color with a new wash, or the enamel/oil wash can only be one color?
I'm wondering what exactly you use Lacquer Thinner for? I'm interested in beginning my Death Guard Army following your methods & using them for inspiration. What do you use for a varnish after applying oils and is it safe for said varnish to go over acrylics and enamels as well?
Lacquer thinner is used for cleaning tools like airbrushes or brushes. It is really aggressive, so make sure to re-introduce healthy oils to your bushes. Any varnish is fine, but you shouldn't varnish after oils or weathering effects. You can varnish your base colors if you want, but I personally do not recommend doing.
Tbh, it would be great to see miniatures on more neutral background, without the benefit of deep shadows and black backgrounds.
I love the style but yes, I think there should be a 'scene' view and then a 'lit up in your cabinet against the ugly wallpaper in the background' view
Would be nice to see a little demo video for each of the inks.
Thats the plan
mine just arrived from the uk supplier. cant wait to give em a go
Man can’t wait to receive mine ,great video!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you.
White power armour tutorial with these soon ?
🙏🙏
Should I put a varnish down first if using this over acrylics? Also, when painting over this with acrylics should I varnish first?
No, and no 👍
@@Xc31 thank you!
How do you clean your airbrush. With acrylics, I dunk mine into a jar of 99% isopropyl when im done. Should I do the same but with white spirits?
Yeah white spirits to clean and then follow up with alcohol or water
What airbrush size and pressure are you using when using goons to filter?
My size 3.5 airbrush get clogged when not thinned.

I'll show it in subsequent tutorials.
Will they be available in europe by a local distributor?
Working Pk-Pro waiting for SDS forms.
@@GrimdarkCompendiumwill it be possible to get the backer stuff from them albeit at a later date?
@packe93 not sure I could work that out logistically.
Have you reached out other miniature channel to review your product?
Not yet. We will look at that after distribution arrangements have been made.
Trench crusade coming up? 👀
Maaaaaybe.. 🤐
Do you need to thin the ink for airbrush use? If so, what kind of thinner are you using? White spirit?
You thin the product with mineral spirits. They spray through certain airbrushes with out needing thinning.
Whoo, Ma.K bits!
Yes!
