They're quite a bit bigger than I expected. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxb-KpJPmXtqM2xdYLP72ICq6QCcD0V8e7 If you ever had an air king round tilting fan, these are basically the same thing but in a window shroud. There's quite a few reviews about them being out of balance. I can say that mine pretty close to balanced. I purchased two of them for cooling my shop during my crypto operation. One intake, one exhaust. Combined they're moving over 7K CFM which is plenty for my 20x30 shop. If it helps you comprehend just how much air they move, both of them on intake and it's incredibly hard to close the door on my shop. The prescribed dimensions are accurate, they barely fit in my small windows.
i have an old GyroAire that my parents were given in 1985 as a wedding present, it has the same case as the one u show there, but has a mechanical slide control for the speed, slides from off to max. Still works perfectly. Just had to change the plug after i drove over it
they used a brass bearing on the early ones and that overheated and burnt or the sliding speed controller would get dust in it and could catch fire on low settings.
so you have both voltages in you house? we only have 220-240v in houses for every thing. and 415v 3Ph fro industrial and big a/c and stuff. some houses have 415v. dose it get hot their? 30,40,50'c?
I do have both 110-120 and 220-240 im my house. Well yesturday it was 32 here the highest the temp get up here is about 35 the coldest it gets with out wind is -40 so quite a range. In the south it gets hotter arizona texas nevada and stuff can see 50 daily in th summer
even if this was 13-14 years ago It still makes the enjoyment!
Oh dude!
@@notanuser-sorry Huh?

That type of fan was popular here in the U.S. a while back, they were called "Rotator Fans" due to the rotating front grille.
OMG is that fan master 4000? I have always wanted to see one of those!! You are so lucky!!!!
Can you make videos of all your vintage fans
the Elcon came up very nice. Gyroaire is a very strong fan and i got the Heller and 5 other like it for $12 each new.
You have an amazing collection.
Glad I'm happy this channel for years

My mother used to have one of those Mistral gyro-air box fans but back in 2003 it failed so she threw it away
Is it the ones with variable speed sliders or touch controls like in this video?
@@brothermyboy8226 Touch control
@@maxstrainsfanssmash687 too bad, that model was very rare.
@@brothermyboy8226 I know
@@maxstrainsfanssmash687 and i have a question, what is the model? Did the touch controls are optional?
If you live in the U.S.A, they use 120v/60HZ.

The gyro aire is from the 1970s
What is the point of the spinning grill?
For changing direction.
60,898 people must have been really hot when they clicked on this video
Does anyone know how to remove the front grill off that brandless box fan, the kind that doesn't have that east loosen/tighten option?
I figured it out - forecfull by careful rocking and pulling at the inside motor that makes it turn did the trick
You have so many fans.
