Meet Corinne Tan! American Girl of the Year 2022 - AGSM/Vlog

I GOT CORINNE TAN!! I am so excited that American Girl finally released a fully Asian GOTY, it's about time! Once I saw that she was going to be AG's first Asian GOTY (pretty much since Jess in 2006 who was half Japanese - or if you count Kanani who was a 1/4 Japanese in 2011) I knew I wanted to get her, and I'm so happy I did! Her story talks about important topics on racism, that I can relate to being Asian myself, I definitely encourage you to read her book as well. Her story also includes her younger sister, Gwynn (who I don't plan to get since I already have Emerson who I feel looks similar enough,) and as you can probably tell from the video haha, I am super close with my sister. I think Corinne's story is possibly my favorite GOTY story they've done thus far! In the books she also goes by the nickname, Cori, and I've decided I will call her Cori as well.
