Colin’s acting, his voice, the accent??!? 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
I don’t think we are prepared for how crazy hardcore this show is gonna be
I am
I don't think you know what hardcore means
Its either going to be really good, or really stupid. I hope its the former
"This guy's crazy!" cit.
Think untouchables, minus Elliot Ness and I think you've got a pretty good idea of the tone of this series.
I still have a tough time seeing Colin Farrell. It's incredible.
That's what I love about it, when actors disappear into their roles. This is why I didn't like Batman with Ben Affleck (when he removed the mask) cause all I saw was Ben and not Bruce Wayne.
@@jakep1979 Affleck wasn't at all convincing as Batman even when he wore the mask. It was just Ben Affleck wearing a Batman costume with that stupid voice thing they did

Gabagool? 👇Over heeeeere! 👇
Carmine Falcone. Whatever happened there.
Matt Reeves, the Batman was definitely an amazing movie but when the end credits came on screen it made me want to see more of this fantastic universe. Fortunately with this show we’re going to get that. Also, the show is about The Penguin and it’s got a Sopranos/Godfather theme, which is very fitting for the series.
I see that they're making a series about The Penguin with a Sopranos style to it. That's just so fascinating to see, Colin Farrell is definitely going to deliver this role perfectly after he did it in The Batman 🙌
OHH! It's like an ad for a weight loss commerical, before! aaaand waaay before!!
@@TehUltimateSnakeDoes this guy ever stop breaking balls?
The Penguin never had the makings of a varsity athlete
Shot putter!
I was already 100% gonna watch this, but seeing that Clancy Brown is playing Sal Maroni makes this a *required* watch in my book.
This show looks fantastic.
Especially since Clancy Brown is well-known for portraying villains/antagonists in various live-action media. Capt. Byron Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption, General Wade Eiling in The Flash, and Kurt Caldwell in Dexter: New Blood. Especially voicing villains/antagonists in various animated/cartoon media. Lex Luthor in various DC media and the DC Animated Universe (like Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, and Justice League: Unlimited), Savage Opress in Stars Wars: The Clone Wars, and Rahzar in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tv show.
@@matthewmira3265don't forget SpongeBob
@@adityanarain9428I didn’t forget about that. I just didn’t put it there because I was remarking the villain roles that Clancy Brown voiced and Mr. Krabs isn’t a villain, he’s just a greedy, money-loving, but kindhearted businessman.
@@matthewmira3265 I know just a remark
Just love the mix of realism and comic book accuracy we’re getting in this new Batman universe. Would be great to see more of Batman characters in this universe. Batgirl, Robin, Two Face, Black Mask, you name it. This alone can even stand out compared to whatever James Gunn is planning to cook with the DCEU.
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, THAT'S WHY HES EVERYTHING, THAT'S WHY HES THE GOAT!!! THE GOAT!!!!!!
Perfection. That monologue and the score and the editing on this trailer. Unreal. Best thing I’ve seen in ages.
It’s antisemitic

I never thought I would want to see a show about the Penguin so bad.
Whoever idea it was to make the peguin like a Tony soprano character is brilliant!!!!
Genius 😅
LOVE the idea of the teaser essentially being a monologue by Oz. This iteration of the character has so much to say and the world isn't ready. Lfg 🔥🐧
This is why I love DC, a superhero show that looks like proper prestige TV.
Yeah, let's forget about CW...
More like HBO
Is it really a superhero show though?
@@sacrificiallamb4568 a supervillan show as much as anything-Batman is a "superhero" thing, as he has no actual superpowers...
It's needed to make up for the CW lol.

The Batman Saga 🦇🔥
You'd never know that was Colin Farrell!!! He did a great job as The Penguin. Can't wait to see the show.
The dialogue they've chosen for this trailer is perfect for the character of the Penguin.

I could listen to Collin monologue as the penguin all day 👌🏼
the fact that this is only a spin off series from the batman but the cinematography still holds up is amazing
Unreal. This is a masterclass in acting from Colin Farrell.
This trailer is literally just Penguin narrating a story and yet it’s one of the best trailers of the year. Oh yeah, this show is gonna be nuts.
I’m here for this. Definitely one of the best parts of the Batman. Well deserved and I see the vision with this. I hope all goes well for this project. I think the superhero genre needs more projects with ambitions like this
Calling it now, he'll win an Emmy for this role. Hands down. And to be honest, he's due.
Yup!
No chance. You don't win big awards in 3 inches of make-up. It just doesn't happen. Also this is a comic book show in a world with shows like Succession, True Detective, and White Lotus. They'll be lucky to get nominated.

Colin Farrell definitely watched The Sopranos before making this.
That's what I wanted from this show!!! Present the Penguin as a classic Gangster! I love it and am so excited!
I remember watching the Batman in the cinema and seriously did NOT guess this was Colin Farrell AT ALL..... he absolutely transformed into Penguin before our eyes..... he did a flawless job and deserves this series...... I watched Colin from his early days in Hollywood and right now, this guy is at the top of his game.... so good :)
I watched him in Ballykissangel
Back when The Batman trailer came out, I thought Collin Farrell was playing a lower role in the movie
I NEVER would have guessed he was the Penguin in that trailer- he’s had an amazing comeback
Honestly... He is such a phenomenal actor!!!
One of the best
the cinematic shots is perfect.
That acting from Colin at the beginning is 🔥
Colin, you deserve an Oscar for this role.
Nah... This is streaming.. No oscars for that...
It's a tv series, so, he might, and probably will win an Emmy. The show should win emmys for the makeup and prosthetic work, just an incredible job.
