Thanks. It's all good.. all part of the learning. I didn't expect this steel to be this hard and made the mistake of not fully setting the bevel. Happy Friday!
Looks like you're getting closer dude! Boy congrats! Take a look at Caleb McCullough. He has some great honing videos. He has a few where he finishes on a hard Ark. Keep it up brother
@@TimShaves Have you found any good videos showing what the undercut looks like a good set bevel? I try, but haven't found a good. I know its hard to film
@@gnomeoshaves4641 Not really. Undercut is hard to see on a video as you know. I did watch a bunch of videos on how to set a bevel and personalized it. Couple signs of undercut on a good bevel set for me is violent undercut with a lot of water + slurry/swarf. And then once I dial back to little bit of water, there should be even undercut on both sides. My ultimate test is cutting armhair though. It's gotta cut effortlessly and sometimes it's a struggle to get there.
Tim! Nice shave my man! That edge looked good to me. I feel your passion for cutthroat razors.
Thanks Kirk! Getting more consistent results these days.
Hey. Nice one. Sorry to hear it took forever to set the bevel. On the other hand was glad to hear the edge was sharp enough. Happy Friday

Thanks! I've checked out several of his videos.. I know he likes using Arks dry and knows a lot about them.
