That was Capaldi playing, that's the point of the Doctor having a guitar, otherwise it would be incredibly silly. When Capaldi was in his 20's he was a Singer and lead guitar player in a punk band im Scotland called the The Bastards from Hell than later The Dreamboys. Craig Ferguson was the drummer. The two were best friends, and still are. Before Ferguson got tired of his late, late show, he mentioned he was a fan Doctor Who pretty often. At different times he had Tennant, Matt Smith, Billy Piper, Karren gillian at least twice, then finally Peter Capaldi. They were both very funny, and shared a story about when they both took LSD one night. Ferguson kept a small tardis on his talk show desk for most of his show's run, I think David Tennant gave it to him. Yay! Lovely to see the reactions to and running…. Hopefully you get left alone by YT and we can move forwards! It’s a fun episode but you’re right about the false deaths. I think it’s the Moffat weakness. Everybody lives! Too often!! Good cliffhanger though

Hoping this works a bit better for you- personally I was fine with the review only style and will continue to watch if you ever need to go back to that but it is definitely nice to see the reactions to some key moments - especially in an episode like this.

I think you misunderstand clara/missys "death" and it being the doctors last day. The show isn't trying to convince you/the audience of any of that, but it's convincing the doctor. We know that Clara isn't dead, but the doctor believes she is. That's what raises the stakes of the episode. We know.what the doctor is capable of when he thinks he's lost everything (example a good man goes to war or waters of Mars) so we're not to think oh no Clara's died we are to think oh sh*t the doctor is gonna do something insane
I hope you got the salt and pepper set with the teapot lol! Also hope this editing style is way less problematic for you but if you need to make the watermark bigger or do any further distortions totally fine with that, just glad you can get reactions back out there! I love any episode with Missy, every scene she is in she just steals!
