Henry's Song (a Ben Nichols & Izzy's Song Tribute)

I sing "Henry's Song" to the kiddo almost every night that I put him to bed. So in honor of his first birthday today, here's a little birthday music video. I imagine, in a few more years, he will be mortified by this kind of Dad behavior.
The back story: a couple weeks-ish before Henry was born, I went to see Lucero for my birthday, and Ben Nichols treated us to a rendition of "Izzy's Song," which he wrote for his daughter. I was so excited to be a Dad, I borrowed the tune and most of the lyrics so I would have something to sing to Henry when he arrived.
Watching this kid grow and develop over the last year has been an unfettered joy. Cecilia and I are still so overwhelmed with love for this little bug, and excited to see what his future holds.
