    Good day Engr, doon po sa @16:21 , instead na 20.7 po, 27.5 po dapat ang fc' pero ang true answer ay 269.8mm parin for c. Thanks

    Malaking tulong po yung mga video nyo sakin sir. Sir pwede po ba magrequest ng series ng design from roof to footing po. Atleast two-storey house po sana. Naka STAAD po kasi yung ibang video na napanood ko. Gusto ko po kasi matuto ng manual magdesign 😅

    @Gillesania Engineering Videos Sir after na macompute nyo ang fs = 600(d-c)/c = 1557 MPa, this means that fs > fy. Thus, it shows steel yields?

    Good evening sir. Tanong lang po. What if wala po effect depth? At hindi po equal ang bars sa tension bars? For example po sa tension bars, 6 bars sya, 2 sa taas at 4 sa baba. Pano po makukuha ang effective depth?

    @Gillesania Engineering Videos Kapag po ba nag-yield ang steel (tension controlled) ibig sabihin good design dahil magbigay ng warning ang structure sa occupants at di biglaan ang collapse? O meron po bang iba pang dahilan gaya ng pagiging economical but safe?

    Sir hindi po ba dapat yung ginamit po sa fs = 600 (d-c)/c, dapat po dt which is the centroid nung extreme reinforcement? Sa NSCP po kasi Et nakalagay which is the strain of the extreme tension reinforcement not the centroid of all tension reinforcement. As per NSCP po kasi Et is defined as net tensile strain in extreme layer of
    longitudinal tension reinforcement at nominal strength, excluding strainsdue to effective prestress, creep, shrinkage, and temperature.

    Good day tanong ko lang po. In reality po pag nagddesign po ng beam pag di nag yield yung bakal (compression controlled) automatic na ekis po agad yung design na yun? Bale po dapat nasa tension controlled ka lagi pag nagddesign? Thank you po sa sasagot

      @ Michael Andrew Yes, tension controlled dapat. Nagbibigay kasi ng warning kapag unang nagyield ang rebar. Di kagad mag collapse ang concrete. May panahon para makatakbo ang occupants. Tsaka na-o-optimize ang gamit sa rebars.

    sir may question po ako. kasi yung nilesson po sa amin dati pag yung strain daw po less than 0.004 automatic 0.65 po ginagamit? bakit po kaya o baka mali po yung naturo sa amin? pahelp po salamat.

      Typo error lang yun. Just use f'c = 27.5 MPa.
      0.85(27.5)(0.85c)(330) = 4419(600)*(450-c)/c
      6,556.7c = 2,651,400*(450-c)/c
      c = 269.8 mm
