Always am impressed by your videos. Arranging tent tiedowns was 5 stars. I have a Bahko, before Silkys became popular. Still, very good info, even for trimming your backyard.
Great video, I use the Gomboy Silky saw myself. I have used a smaller folding saw and found, with the Gomboy, I get more of a follow through with arm motion which makes for a more comfortable action. I have also found, when cutting a larger log (6 inches or more), that cutting straight through tends to curve the cut and the saw binds up. This is probably due to the way the handle is gripped. I have figured out that if you work your way around the log a little and cut on 3 different angles, it tends to keep the cut straight and prevent binding. What is your experience in regards to blade damage or dullness?
Great video, thanks! Prefer saw/knife to the axe my self for security reasons. Much less likely to inflict serious damage on my self with a folding saw or a knife, compared to an axe, hatchet or other chopping tools.
Really? I demonstrated how to split wood with a saw as well as harvest forest materials in a safe and more ecologically sound manner than with a chopping tool. Professionals use saws to prune trees for the very same reasons. The only personal opinion in the video is my brand preference in terms of the folding saws I prefer.
Good information Sir
Thank you very much and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Best wishes, ML

Very good tips. T-Totally agree concerning leaving behind impalement hazards. I have a Bahco and a Corona. The Corona is a beast! TC - Stan

Great little machete! Where can I get one? Didn't see it offered on your online store.

No tips or tricks just a bunch of personal opinions
