This show is 20 times better than the new show. This show had real heart! The actors combined acting, singing, and dancing into an exciting show that I saw several hundred times!

Gotta admit, this is my favorite version of the show. I watched the older versions before, but during the many times I had a Universal Pass, this was the thing I did the most. I would come on days off of school and on weekends and just see the show. I dunno why I loved it so much, I just did. I wanted to be Dracula when I got to the right age. Not a fan of the newer version though; the transformation was one of my favorite parts.

In the book she was never finished, because the doc realized that there was no guarantee that she would accept him, Or worse if she did then there would be a monster power couple unleashed upon the world.

Sky Larker From all experience, the first and last shows of the day are the lamest as far as audience goes. This, based on cast, was a late afternoon show that must have conflicted with something else. No other excuse for the late entrances by some guests and the lack of response from most of the audience.

I love this show so much! It has some of my favorite songs of all time and is hilarious! It sucks that they changed it to have “Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae” and later had the show completely removed.

I saw this Version in 2007. There was the older version I saw as a Kid and I loved it. My Dad was a Huge Frankenstein Fan!! Me I love Beetlejuice!!

if i witnessed this specific performance i am so sorry i had to keep a straight face the entire time or else my parents would discover i had a personality please know i enjoyed the entire show and think you are all incredible performers so much so i decided to try to revisit it six years later

I've been looking everywhere for this! I loved this show when I was a kid, everytime we went to Universal we went.
I remember seeing this when I went to Universal Studios in 2006. Never really saw it as a rock show though because of the song choices.
TheEmily1220 I thought the choices in music were great. loved the 80's music. my favorite decade of music.
But the song choices were mainly rock they just played them in a pop style.

I remember this back in 2002-2003. Show was different but I got to meet the monsters outside the set. Gave Frankenstein's a a.big hug and thanked him for getting me into horror. Then I got BJ's autograph and photo. I need to find that that photo.
I think they ended jump too early as when the wolf man is doing his thing the keyboard solo is going on and there's a whole chorus after that before it ends
If I knew how to play guitar, I would get a custom made to look like Frankie's guitar from this show...
I already tried to immortalize him as a pin design but... well, nowhere makes custom lapel pins for a decent price. :T

Is it wierd that when I saw this vid at first I thought the actors switched in the smoke until like a year I saw clothing drop to the ground and learned that the smoke is just a way to obscure the changing of clothes to give it the impression that beetlejuice magic is used to change them into rockstars

i was thinking drac used his cape as a cover and the smoke was also uses so they can do a quick change because dract does open his cape untill after the big reval so my theory is that had the preforance cholthes on underneath

No, they don't. The show was stopped in 2016 completely and paved over for a really bad ride. :(

No, that is actually he has a very gentle voice and the mics find it hard to pick that up
As a guitar player I don't really like how Frankenstein plays a guitar that's not even plugged into a wireless receiver it's just used a a prop but I guess it's meant for looks so the actors can focus on singing and not worry about playing the right notes and singing at the same time just something that bugs me

I'm sorry to say that based on this show alone, I would 100% skip seeing this if and when I even get to visit. The audience and their lack of participation did NOT help this at all.

It was actually much better to see this in person than it ever is on RUclips. I don’t remember the audience ever being that into it and I always thought something was wrong with everyone else because I know I feel like I’m certainly “strange and unusual” (Lydia). I always supposed the other people watching it just weren’t cut out for it. I always loved all of the songs in it and thought the monsters were a lot of fun, especially BJ himself. ^^
