Google Moscow Cathedral mosque. There are mosques in Moscow including historic ones. Of course with the huge numbers eid is prayed in an open area to accommodate them. This is common in Africa too.
In Africa, there are mosques all over. Not all are fancy but for Eid you'll find most people praying in a field outside mosques.
Its actually quite nice with all the colors everywhere. I always love walking to Eid prayers with my siblings and cousins, dressed in the same patterns. Its amazing.
they already have, russia have the largest Muslim population in whole of EU combined, they have the largest Mosqu in Europe in Moscow. But even the Masjid are not big enough to put all Muslims praying.
Especially for Eid prayers, it is best to carry them out in the field because they can accommodate more prayer people. This is also an Islamic message
