V!RUS Oh ffs
Love this dude cause of his genuine interest in sharing music and influence and equipment. He reminds me of every great music teacher I had: talented, motivated, and sooo cool. You were born to teach, my friend!
That's *ALL* true, but the icing on the ( Supper Nutritious Organic Carrot ) cake...
is those Mémés though! :P Huang always cracks me up!
Soooooo excited for more videos like this. I've been wanting to get started and I am looking forward to doing so with the help of one of if not my favourite creators. Keep it up Andrew!
Wow, a 💖 after 2 minutes? Thanks dude!
I’m glad you’re covering this topic! Good timing!💖💖💖
Relatively new fan. I'm bummed it took me so long to find your channel. Keep making the hugely inspiring and informative videos!!
Conner Lewis Ah, cool! Have you watched the following videos yet? (don't know the exact titles)
Alphabetical rap
Rap without the letter E
One-vowel rap
Alphabetical genre
Alphabetical genre 2
60 second rap
5 languages rap
Those are the most impressive song challenges for me, and then there are also two really nice music videos to check out: You Make Winter Warm (uploaded by another channel), and Tonight I Dream of Dancing.
Of course there are way more great videos by Andrew Huang, but these are probably my favourites. ;)
make a song using only the crappy line-in's on your computer
danieldaviswho SoundCloud UPLOAD
Is me. Have done this.
Too pro. Make a song using only the internal laptop microphone.
@@iAmTheSquidThing flume did that, he used his macbook's microphone to record his voice as an ambient sound
now he's on the top
XD XD XD
Good quirky video as usual! Really enjoyed the plug-in demonstrations. *High five effect*
Recently, I came across your videos. They're super insightful, but with the perfect touch of humor and uniqueness that keeps bringing me back! Also, your op-1 videos make me really want to learn more about audio (other than the small 1 semester I took) and recording. Thanks for constantly pushing out the good content!
New fan (about a month or so) and honestly, this is one of my favourite music channels on RUclips. I got interested in modular music because of you Andrew, and I want to just be a better musician because of your constant professionalism. Love all your albums that I have listened to so far. And I am looking in to Patreon just to support you, because i love what you do
Thanks so much for doing a video on this!! I’ve been eyeing this interface for months and you solidified all my questions I had with it! Thanks again for all the great content!
"All signals are equal....but some are more equal than others" - Signal Farm by George Orwell
Thanks for making stuff like this. A little while ago I had some equipment from my starter studio stolen from my house, so seeing how you make things with minimal hardware/plugins is helpful. Keep it up!
[sees title] “There’s no way this isn’t about sausage fattener.•
The " T H I C C S A U S S A G E"
This video was so helpful!
I'm learning vocal mixing at the moment, and this is the prefect guide!
Thank you so much! :D
even though i know nothing about music i still love watching your videos and that’s a testament to how engaging your delivery is. great job :)
i’ve also had level 5 care on repeat for weeks now! go on tour i want to hear it live!!
For the first time in a long time I find a video that shows a clear difference in the dry and wet signal on what kind of effect a certain processor has.
I always thought a compressor just did its thing based on other videos I saw, but you were the first one to show me that a compressor is able to add a lot of character to a sound!
Thanks Andrew and I'm glad you're back to making videos again! :)
Thanks a lot for the explanations! And am very much looking forward to watch your vlog on other basic recording material!
The Apollo twins are pretty cool, we have tons of those in my college. At home, I'm rocking a Scarlett 2i2 first gen and it's uh... It's pretty good to start off with but it definitely has given me lots of problems over the almost 2 years having it.
Love your videos. Been playing piano for 13 years and since I started to watch your channel I've been opened up to a whole new side of music. Keep it up.
Great Choice. New viewer here and I must say, your modular synth makes me heart melt.
Just got on board with you and why was I sleeping! So many great vids and so much incredible content.
Omg I can't wait for your mastering video. That's the one major thing I've always struggled with in the years that I've been producing. I've literally regarded all my work as trash because of it 😩
Love the FX album! It’s awesome to jam out to!💖💖
Love these videos where you show us the hardware you use to make the magic happen! Glad you’re back
The high five in the beginning always makes me want to raise my hand and high five the screen in front of me
I Write A Song A Day I do a little finger tap to the hand 😂😂😂
I really enjoy the fact that you add subtitles when you don't talk. I feel like I've been missing out on things in your videos until I just figured this out. It speaks to me that you put this much effort into your videos man. You are awesome.
Love this! 😄
Especially the behind the scenes look into your processing plug-ins 🙂
Really interested in that mastering video! Good work!!
So glad you're doing more production tutorials! Love your work, keep it up m8!
First off, thank you so much for doing this video. I was planning on buying an internal sound card and this will help so much! Thank you for your time. In addition like your use of all sorts of synths, and your modular setup, which is dope! As a producer in the baby phase I would just like to thank you for all of your help and input!

Loving these videos. Especially in the run up to my music tech exam!
This is awesome! I've been looking for a good audio interface, and you've just sold me on this one.
Your videos are really helpful in understanding basic stuff. Keep the good work man!
Having so much fun watching videos on this channel. It inspired me to take a look at music production. As a violinist, I would be curious to hear you make a track only using a violin. Please don't break any in the process!!
I am migrating from just playing guitar to synths and home producing, and i am just learning how BIG and essential Universal Audio is. Great quick video, to the point + fresh! Thanks.
This video was very interesting to watch. I can’t wait to see your audio mastering video! I’m looking forward to that.
Nice video, I always enjoy your gear reviews/videos.
I always gets excited when I see the notify! Great review!
Love your stuff man. Good to know about those UA plugins, im going to check it out.
So hyped for the giveaway!
Also really looking forward to that mastering video!!
Stay blessed boiii
Yay I entered! I NEED an audio interface for my guitar tutorial channel! Love your work Andrew, always inspiring! Love from New Zealand!
Cheers for the giveaway! Apollo’s are insanely powerfuel, always wanted to get my hands on one and start experimenting with all of the UAD plugins!
Thanks for the vid dude!
Looking forward for the mastering music one
Love the Apollo stuff, good job Andrew, the modelling mic pre’s are legit!
Thank you for posting this and all the other gear you use!
Hi Andrew, hope you are doing well. I recently subscribe to you about a week ago from Rob Scallon, I love your work you do amazing stuff and I've enjoyed everything about you. I've been binge-watching your stuff Non-Stop and recently came across your 99 Red Balloons video which I forgot that I had watched two years before I even knew who you were. You've always made things enjoyable for me and I appreciate you. Keep up the amazing work God bless! ☺️
Thank you Andrew so much! I wanted to start music production but i didn't understood what audio interfaces were and what they are valuable for!
This was great! I really want to see a vid on that tiny midi keyboard you use all the time.
YES!!! ANDREW!!!!! PLEASE share more basics of making music! You explain these things so well, man. Would you be willing to explain how to make an interesting percussion beat or a solid hook?
Thank you, Andrew, for doing this giveaway. You've done nothing but provided value to me personally. Also good luck to everyone who has entered.
It's awesome to see someone who is so into making music and creating stuff that sounds cool looking forward to your future vids keep up the great work
Love ya vids! I always feel your connection to music!
Thank you! Can't wait for the video on mastering
It's amazing how you just open up to people and show how this all works! Every time when I watch one of your videos I learn about something new, it's incredible
Your stuff sounds great! Super chill and stuff!
Finally a mastering video coming out! Can't wait!
this was really helpful thanks!
You’re music is awesome and you’re very inspiring. Keeps me wanting to push forward in music!
I love your vlog Andrew, interesting and great music too. Keep going!.
Love it dude! you're so, just, insanely talented!
"All that I want" is a really good song.
I do too
Very instructive video as usual. I was wondering whether you could show us in a future video how to emulate effects for an electric guitar without needing an amp. Thanks for sharing quality and fun content!
Could really use an Apollo to kickstart my production! Great information about the interface. Best wishes on your birthday!
Your videos are hands down the funniest and most informative out there! You’re the best!
I love how your videos just keep get better ^^
Thanks for your generosity! Fingers crossed I can win one 🤞🏼 I’ve been looking through the Apollo plugins and I love what you did with the Ocean Way one. It seems like one you can really play around with for interesting results.
I was literally thinking about audio interfaces yesterday and how I needed to do some reading because I didn't know what they are used for. Thanks, Andrew!
Wow. Being a musician involved in primarily live music but with a fascination for production and otherwise finished products, this gives me so much more appreciation for the art that goes into mastering. I'd love to get involved with this
Hey Andrew, thanks for all the great videos, still learning so much from you!
Love your work, so inspirational and wants to make me expand my composing boundaries 😁
Yay! Now I know how you create your amazing mixes.
Always love your stuff man keep it up, cheers all the way from South Africa. 👍
You are one my favorite music RUclipsrs. Keep the songs and videos coming
Hey,thanks Andrew for the information. I was searching for this info since months.
Great videos for music production! Them ua interfaces are the shizzle!
great input as always!
Yes! More videos like this where you explain basic equipment!
Even if I don't win this is definitely the next addition to my lil studio. The clarity and feel of the UAD plugins are just unmatched.
So I've been watching your videos lately and a friend came over and shouted out while i was watching one " IS THAT THE GUY FROM SONGS TO WEAR PANTS TO?!" Thats when i realized that i had actually been a fan of yours from over ten years ago ... holyshit ....bra..in...melting..g.g..g.
I really wish I could be like you! I really a beginner at music composition and your videos help a lot! Thank you for making this content!
This was really interesting! I've been getting into mixing vocals and learning about plugins and effects like that. I don't have an interface yet bc I have a USB mic, but now I have one I can dream towards someday...
Dope video man I think i might make the swap over soon. Happy birthday bro my birthdays at end of April too. Stay Wavy
Great work as usual
Thx man!
love how i always learn so much from your vids. keep it up man
I love your work. You really have helped me grow in music. Thank you
Level 5 Care is a great example of making singer-songwriter style tunes! 💖💖💖
I write metal tracks, and use Ableton and have found you an invaluable help and guide for a ton of things. Thank you so much!
Yo i realy love youre content and ive been following you far quite some time now (really amaized) 😍
Apollo twins! Been wanting one for long!!!
I never thought that this would be useful because everything I produce is on my computer. Really glad I got to tune in. Always learn something new here.
Yet another great product I need! Thanks!
I was literally just looking for a review of this interface done by you last night... but it didn’t exist yet, lol. Thanks!
Cool video and I especially enjoyed the dry/fx comparissons, but it would've been interesting if you would have talked a bit more about the hardware side of things. For example what to look out for when buying an interface (preamps and so on), what features should it have etc. I get that you like the Apollo Twin and would probably reccommend it, but it might not be suitable for some people (for example if you want to track multiple acoustic instruments at the same time two mike inputs aren't a lot).
Nice matching jumper X😀
Huge fan bro! Love your work
I was searching the internet about this thing for about 2 days... and thats when i saw this video. 🤗🤗 Loved the way you explained it
Thanks for the information about your recording process.
I use a MIDI-USB cable to record from my electronic drums but use an old laptop. I've been looking for an multi-instrument interface, would love one of these!
Andrew you are a constant source of inspiration and hilarity! Keep up the amazing work lots of love from me and Scotland 🏴 x
