I love Going. They are such good musicians and set the standard for spacey jazz rock excursions. They're like sonic LSD. I'll never stop playing them. I was 15 when I first heard them back in 72.

He was also a beautiful person ...both him and Gilli were friend I met after working on shows in the 90s ...No rock star attitude ...pure spirits ! I miss them both dearly

Oui, c'était un soir de pleine lune du mois d'octobre, température particulièrement douce pour la saison; et Gong presqu'au complet et une ambiance de connaisseurs, d'initiés; c'est toujours comme ça les concerts de Gong (j'en ai vu 4 à différentes époques, j'ai toujours été un inconditionnel !) depuis la première écoute d'Angels Eggs à l'époque de sa sortie.

That is GILLI SMYTH... and her space whisper ... she has this great little amp attachment thingy , its a small box that is painted very trippy and its weird looking ... I got to carry it thru an airport once after picking her up for a stay in the states ...now a days I'd probably be tackled by security ...Old lady SHE NEVER WAS !!! Beautiful friend , wonderful woman ...sadly missed .

One of my favourite bands ever. Saw them live at Sussex University in the mid 70s. Unforgettable, such a tight band, always in sync.
