I once had a dream that when Jesus died on the cross, the ground opened up and swallowed the Tabernacle. I don't know if that's truly what happened...but that's what I witnessed in that dream. I heard the veil tear, the ground open and the ark just sank into a vortex of fire.

Yes, God showed Moses the pattern or guideline for making the ark. But it was a physical ark that Moses made after the pattern that God showed him, which means that there really was an ark made by Moses. The truth is; the ark of the covenant was even present in the time of David's reign down to the reign of Solomon (see 2 Chronicles 5). The ark was gone after that, and nothing was mentioned of its existence again until Revelation 11:19.

The deuterocanonical book 2 Maccabees 2:4-7 describes what happened to the Ark when the temple of Jerusalem was destroyed by the Babylonians in the 6th century BC. The prophet Jeremiah took the Ark and hid it in one of the caves on Mount Nebo, and instructed that it remained unmarked. "The place shall remain unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows his mercy".
Although everybody accepts the Septuagint Bible as an authentic Jewish pre-Christian version, they have removed the books of Maccabees from their canon books (written in the Greek language instead of Hebrew) and therefore have not given due attention to its testimony. For many years I have pointed to Maccabees 2:4-7 as the last reference to the Ark of the Covenant, to Israelis and to Israeli sites, in vain. As if I am addressing the deaf and the blind! really impressive. You're the first one i've come across to highlight this reference! Maybe, little by little, some will finally decide to investigate this (I think historical) testimony.

@@selasjet I've believed what it says in II Maccabees 2 for years. The ark is still there but no one will ever find it until Christ comes. You would think (with all our modern technology) we could detect a hidden cave underneath Mt. Nebo. Especially when they used 6th century BC technology to seal it up... I guess no one has just taken the time or invested the money to go find out. Maybe the locals have something to say about it??

if it's not meant for us to be found, then it won't be found. the ark already served it's purpose back in the old days, there's no need for it now. we are so blessed to be able to go to Jesus and ask him for forgiveness, instead of what the israelites had to do back then to seek forgiveness.
What else do we call a chest? The place where your heart is. The holiest of holies is inside the temple which is not made by human hands. What else do we call a temple? Your mind. What else do we call a dome? Your head. I see correspondence to the holiest of holies being one of the 5 crowns or crown of life as the 3rd eye and crown chakras. The veil from the bible is a blue and purple veil. Hidden with a flaming sword (sword=words).
Actually John does not say we will see the Ark again. Revelation 11:19 says that the temple of God in heaven was opened and the Ark was seen. It does not say that man kind will see it again. But it does let us know where it's at.

God didn't replace the covenant ark. The covenant ark that ancient Israel was commanded to build is a copy of the one that exists in Heaven. Paul talked about this in Hebrews.

I can’t understand why you couldn’t use the King James Holy Scriptures depicting Gods Awesome presence in the Ark of the Covenant. It leaves a bad taste in my ears, heart and my memory as I have memorized a large portion of both the Old and New Testaments from a child: at home, in Sunday School, Bible Knowledge in Elementary school, Church services, and our neighbour hoods as well.

The ark of the covenant made by Moses on Mt. Sinai was a copy (made after the pattern Moses was shown) of the ark in heaven. I'm not asking you about the heavenly ark. You said the ark was destroyed. I asked you where did it say that the ark of the covenant was destroyed? Yes, God showed Moses the pattern or guideline for making the ark. But it was a physical ark that Moses made after the pattern that God showed him, which means that there really was an ark made by Moses. The truth is; the ark of the covenant was even present in the time of David's reign down to the reign of Solomon (see 2 Chronicles 5). The ark was gone after that, and nothing was mentioned of its existence again until Revelation 11:19.

The deuterocanonical book 2 Maccabees 2:4-7 describes what happened to the Ark when the temple of Jerusalem was destroyed by the Babylonians in the 6th century BC. The prophet Jeremiah took the Ark and hid it in one of the caves on Mount Nebo, and instructed that it remained unmarked. For many years I have pointed to Maccabees 2:4-7 as the last reference to the Ark of the Covenant, to Israelis and to Israeli sites, in vain. As if I am addressing the deaf and the blind! really impressive. You're the first one i've come across to highlight this reference! Maybe, little by little, some will finally decide to investigate this (I think historical) testimony.

You would think (with all our modern technology) we could detect a hidden cave underneath Mt. Nebo. Especially when they used 6th century BC technology to seal it up... I guess no one has just taken the time or invested the money to go find out. Maybe the locals have something to say about it??

What else do we call a chest? The place where your heart is. The holiest of holies is inside the temple which is not made by human hands. What else do we call a temple? Your mind. Actually John does not say we will see the Ark again. Revelation 11:19 says that the temple of God in heaven was opened and the Ark was seen. It does not say that man kind will see it again. But it does let us know where it's at.

God didn't replace the covenant ark. The covenant ark that ancient Israel was commanded to build is a copy of the one that exists in Heaven. Paul talked about this in Hebrews.

It is sacredly kept in the rightful and worthy land of Ethiopia,which was already the only nation after Israel worshipping God at the time of rule of King Solomon. I can’t understand why you couldn’t use the King James Holy Scriptures depicting Gods Awesome presence in the Ark of the Covenant. It leaves a bad taste in my ears, heart and my memory as I have memorized a large portion of both the Old and New Testaments from a child: at home, in Sunday School, Bible Knowledge in Elementary school, Church services, and our neighbour hoods as well.
There are two arks. One in Ethiopia and one under the Temple mount in Jerusalem. In the Old testament there were two arks. One in the tent of meeting and one that went in battle before them and shot out bolts to take care of scorpion and snakes before them!
