So glad it was helpful!!💚 the whole reason I started making videos was because I couldn’t find much when it came to plant care/propagation. Happy to see others are benefiting from it 🫶🏼🥰
Thank you!💚 This is the only success I’ve had with a succulent plant😆 all the others don’t like me lol. But I let the soil get completely dry before watering again. In the summer, I put it outside and water from top until water is coming through the bottom. Really soak it and let drain fully. In winter, I bottom water until the top of the soil feels moist. Hope that helps a little, and best of luck!!🙏🏼💚
I just bought a tiny one with a couple of leaf on the side. No roots, let's hope i get some (+ a smal Philodendron Pink Princess 🩷) Hoping for the best! 🪴💚
Once it gets to this point, how do you "replant" them? I've been propagating but not sure what the next step is. Or do you even need to put them in soil? Do you just start them in whatever pot you want them to be in and they grow in it?
I try to start them in the pot I want to grow them in, however you can always put them where you want once the roots start coming out 😊 just take the young rooted leaves and just put them on top of the soil in the pot you want to use. I use a blend of cactus soil and extra perlite added in💚
Nope! I put them directly under my grow light. I swear that’s the only reason my propagations do well haha. I don’t have enough strong natural light inside, so they do wonders!!
It’s nearly impossible to even move these things without leaves falling off 😩 lol. The only downside. I’m not totally sure if new leaves will re grow there- but it may branch off and start a new vine with the right conditions. When mine gets super leggy from losing leaves, I’ll just chop it and leave about an inch or two of the plain stem and propagate the vine. The leaves can be propagated as well like in this video! Best way to propagate the vine is stick the part where leaves have fallen off straight into soil. Give it good light and lightly water after a couple days. Only water again when bone dry. My personal preference is to just mist the top of the soil so it doesn’t get over saturated. Then once the plant is nicely rooted, I give it a full watering. Maybe I’ll chop mine up again to give a demo. It’s fun for me lol
So jealous! Mine have not turned out well. I'll try again under a grow light
Absolutely amazing my friend 👏😊

Can u post an update
Definitely! I transplanted them to a hanging pot and mixed some other trailing plants in. I’ll post it on a short later today 💚
i dont get roots after 2 weeks, or even 1 month!
do you put them in the shade while waiting for them to start rooting?
Nope! I put them directly under my grow light. I swear that’s the only reason my propagations do well haha. I don’t have enough strong natural light inside, so they do wonders!!
update?
Posted a little update on my shorts💚 I ended up putting them all in a mixed basket with tradescantia, black pagoda & string of hearts
@@NettiPlants Love it. My burros tail has lost alot of its leaves on one vine. Do these leaves grow back?

I swear by my grow lights!! I really don’t think I’d have success with propagating without them
