  • Michael Pulliam clearly remembers the time when he was punched squarely in the face right after he boarded the school bus. He was bullied physically and psychologically all through elementary school and it has further enforced his feelings of otherness. He has battled and survived suicidal thoughts and attempts, but some of his friends did not survive the depression and loneliness, leaving him with guilt, rage and despair. He feels he has been tested to his limits and feel stronger for having survived the battles.
This is the seventh installment in the Love/Hate series of the Legacy Project, highlighting the Korean Adoptee experience, and the connection to mental health.
Follow us on these stories to hear about those in our community that have fought to overcome these complex struggles.

That video was powerful and intense! Dude was super stoic which only added to the whole vibe. Definitely related to this dude's story. Thank you for KoreanAmericanStory for sharing and documenting all that they do.
