When I was a boy they sang this during benediction and the exposure of the Blessed Sacrament! Such sacred moments in my early life that my children and grandchildren don’t get to experience! They haven’t even been teaching Catechism to the children anymore! I signed up to teach it and they gave me a worthless book about the world in which we live and not Jesus! I cry for my children and children’s, children!
Get the Catechism of the Council of Trent and teach it to them. I was born into this norvus ordo disaster and my catechism leading up to my Confirmation was a real disaster. My brother and I we’re constantly correcting the teacher or calling out her blatantly false teachings. As a result of poor teachings and our secular society, I fell away from the faith completely and have only recently returned within last year or so. None of my living siblings have returned with me. I pray that they do. I’ve recently bought the catechism of The Council of Trent to truly learn my faith and also teach it to my future children. Not making same mistake my parents did by putting the most important education a young person can have in the hands of another person who does not care about their souls the way we do.
How about a proud Christian? I certainly am happy with the denomination I belong to but I never forget that I am Christian first, denominations are man-made after all...

Thomas Aquinas is an inspiration and I have fallen in love with his works and intellect, given to him by God. God is loving, beautiful and wonderful to have created a man with such grace and wisdom.
Same here. His introduction to the Summa Theologica is incredible and he's probably the most advance metaphysician to have ever lived. You should check out some of the works of Peter Kreeft. He's a professor of philosophy at Boston University and has written a few introductory books on Aquinas and the Summa. That's how I got into him. Before that, he seemed bit too deep and inaccessible to the layman but Kreeft's books helped break things down.

Love music like this. Makes me think of my dad who passed away. Makes me think about death and the other side. What is like on the other side. I've seen my dad as a spirit on my bed and also other times. I'm very spiritaul ever since I was a kid. I've seen everything. Don't be scared of the other side or death. That's our real home. We are on earth for a long journey to experience life on earth. Your soul and spirit never dies. Its the body that dies. I've also experienced death in a small way. You feel the same but without a body. I thought I died when I was 17. All what happened was my soul left the body.. but i never died. I was standing in my bedroom doorway.
