That at 7:00 is my only real beef with modern controls, namely one button supers.
Everything you've learned over the years just goes right out the window. Cammy has level 3? Well your next projectile has a 40% health tax on it. In classic if I see her rapidly going crouch to stand and I throw a projectile and the screen flashes I know it's my fault for being dumb. Or Gief walking at you and you press a button or tech and eat level 3. They don't feel like they're my fault because for most of the player base, what just happened wasn't possible. The control scheme and nothing else changes how you have to play and nullifies a lot of your tools because of 1F super inputs.
Yeah 100%, 1 frame = super compared to the 8-12 frames it takes to input for classic. Let's not even bring up gief lvl 3 because that will just blow any modern controls arguement out the water completely, to think there is a bunch of people trying to defend modern controls like maximillian.
Daigo is a beast but the player shows that how deadly luke can be if played well

That ending right there from luke / Tachikawa side, he dashed after Drive rush, was it a drop combo or something from modern control limitation? That drop combo lose this match.
How did he drop that combo using modern controls?
@@xero101xx modern combo can't execute complex combo since it's like semi auto because it's simplified control, i don't remember it all but one of them involving drive rush. Because if you look at what Tachikawa did on the drive rush before his final drive rush that makes him burn out, I think he was trying something after the Drive rush and he failed and it ended up just extra push.

It’s because it is, I can’t always trust my old ass controller I like playing classic with a joy stick it just makes it sooo much more helpful and a lot less fat fingering
Ofcourse they are viable, they have an advantage and that's the freaking problem, 1frame input supers, walk up gief level 3s. These are things that break the game but you are looking at them as if they are inferior which is completely wrong.
People who defend M have 0 comprehension of the game SF has been all it's life and are a serios bunch of lazy gamers who want all the nice things given to them without earning it.

Since Luke is facing left and using Modern controls he did ⬇️↘️➡️+Light for the Upper Smash and ⬇️↘️➡️+Heavy for the forward smash.

Both of the comments who said yes either never played on Modern or just straight up wanted to lie. No it does not hit confirm for you. There is so much BS information about modern it's crazy. If you continue to hit the auto button, you will be punished severely, because the combo WONT STOP. If you continue your modern string and the opponent blocks, you either better hope you get out of the way, fast enough, or you will almost certainly get counter punished.

I think Luke Marissa and Guile are the only characters that are good with M controls, though I think Guile has an argument against him.

I love the game, but it makes me sad and worried about the large amount of 'PERFECTS' that happen in SF6, and usually they are linked to the application of throw loops. This makes the matches less interesting to watch, and seeing this at a professional level, proves how abusive it is, these throws need a rebalance
