My second hand does not line up with the chaptering on the crown side, never has.Keeps excellent time after almost 3 years of continuous use.The band is still holding tuff.Get this, for under 50 bucks with a screw down crown!!.Buy one and wear the heck out of it and you'll see that this young man is spot on when he says it's that good.Nice review sir.
I was curious about modding a Duro. I have one that I wear on weekend sailing trips. It has proven so durable, I am planning to buy a second Duro and put a sapphire crystal and a Batman bezel. Do you know the appropriate items are available?
Good review!, just got one myself, abit bigger than I like but excellent value for money. Am going to wear this a a daily work beater watch then return to my vintage casio mtd1010 submariner (you should check it out).
it's around 60$ here in the Philippines, a bit pricier than in US but hey for that price still is to beat. planning to get this on very soon for my beater. also planning to have the goldfinger nato on it. thanks for inspiring, kid. rocking review
Go and see if all 60 seconds pointing exactly on the second markers, if so then u hv hit d jackpot bcos usually u will get 20 to 30 seconds accurate for a quartz watch. Usually some watch enthusiast will go to a watch maker to dismantle d watch n d second hand then align it accurately pointing to 12 o'clock, after that u hv to see how many seconds it will point accurately before it is off. To get all 60 seconds correctly is very lucky indeed bcos i hv seen a Swiss expensive quartz watch which is also not accurate on its second hand! So u will see d importance of an accurate second hand in a quartz watch will make a collector more happy n keen to look at his watch every time! Enjoy ;)

You should check out the MTD-1053 with blue dial & bezel (I have it ;D) It's quite solid for the money, though I'd prefer this MDV-106 with blue dial+bezels.
I disagree that you'll have to replace the strap, because it's extremely serviceable. It's comfortable and more than long enough for my 8" wrist. You might prefer a different strap, but I'd suggest that people try it before they spend money on a different strap.
Very well done review! I really enjoyed it! About the second hand - It's not en exception on your watch. It fits perfectly on the markers. Surprisingly good quality control from Casio for a such low price product. About the watch itself - If nobody say "Hey, it's $40 per piece, man!" You will never be able to guess the price. Completely made of stainless steel, screw down crown, screwed case back, 200m water resistant, not so bad lume, date window, approximately 44mm diameter .......... I think You get much much more for the money buying this watch. And this is my favorite analogue quartz watch. Best wishes :)
Thanks. Has anyone tested the affordable dive watches if they are truly dive watches. Has any one tested on a swimming pool under 10 feet (perhaps in an olympic swimming pool or dive training pools). God bless, Proverbs 31
Only thing about this video is the kid is excellent..... because there is no way you can compare this watch even to a broken Rolex lololol but again the kid is great, This is my opinion and I hope you have yours,
Dude, forum up. That watch you mentioned is not even close in quality to ANY brand watch from the west. Google it.

I'd love to have some links to read on that. From what I've heard so far it's like a mechanical G-shock (minus the quality control), but overall still solid for the price.
It's a different kind of watch altogether. The amphibias are watches manufactured with the same machines for the last 50 years. They're like buying a new vintage watch. They have a very interesting history and they're fun to wear and collect. Their lume is very bad and the bezels are bidirectional, but they are truly water resistant to 200m and more. If you want to learn more about them there's a subforum dedicated to russian watches on watchuseek, one of the best watch forums out there.
I own both a Vostok and this Casio. The Vostok costs more than the Casio. Both come with a rotating bezel, but the Vostok's is not safe, rotates both ways. While this Casio is quartz, the Vostok is mechanical ,but still,in my opinion, this Casio is a much better piece.
That 20mm (instead of 22mm) nato bond strap made the watch look the closest to the submariner in goldfinger.

That young kid has a strong young opinion! Keep up the good work!
+F Marrapodi Thanks!
Great job reviewing the watch. I have one and for the money it’s a great watch. I subscribed after watching this!
richiesurfside Thank you very much for those kind words and the subscription!

Thanks for the comment! I checked out the mtd1010 and it would definitely make a great tool watch!

It´s good. The only negative is the lume on the indexes.

+MrElRockero Exactly, the quality to price ratio for this watch is off the scale. Thanks for the comment!
Gets more compliments than my GS.
Where did you get the band and what size is it?
+Adamhegemon1 You can get it at the Amazon link in the description. Thanks for the comment!
+Adamhegemon1 Oh, and also, the size of the strap should be 22mm. Thanks.
WatchesOnYou doesn't look like you used a 22mm strap. In fact, that 'vintage bond' nato fits it about as well as the famous Submariner in Golddneye
My son has same watch. And a 22 fits perfect. He was using wrong size
I’m just looking for a water proof watch. This will be perfect
+Silly Gily Thanks for the comment!

I have it. It is really nice for € 58,00.
What is ur wrist size?
Roughly 6.5 inches.
Kids these days...doing reviews better than adults...I could not even tie my shoes right at his age! ;-)
Thanks!
This Casio makes all quartz Invicta with $80 price tags look... questionable.
What I hate about this watch: It costs +/-$40 in the US but 60 EUROS where I live :(
79 Euros in Spain.
$45 in Amazon
best dive watch under $100.... Vostok Amphibia
