SPT gotta be the only mod community that doesn't leave their old file versions up.
There also seems to be a "frowned upon" mentality of sharing older spt versions and mod sets like person to person. Idk why. If theres a legit reason would love to know.
This alone kinda pisses me off. They should add the ability to select mod versions like nexus mods
"We no longer offer older versions of SPT. This decision was made due to the influx of new users and the resulting bandwidth demand, which required us to prioritize bandwidth over available storage space for old versions/patchers.
We also do not allow third party distribution of SPT assets in our communities, as we can not vet that third parties are not distributing malicious files."

We gotta thank BSG for that, if they weren't so butthurt by the fact modders can make a better game but instead supported the modding community, SPT's one wouldn't be so scared of investing into a better website and more legacy content.
I guess that not keeping older versions is one of the thing they had to agree with BSG, to avoid a Cease and Desist.
Not supporting in any way a co-op mod and not sharing older versions.
This looks amazing, the weather and weapons etc make it look so polished, so many quality of life things that aren't in the original game...., great video
Tbh i like spt, but everything in this video makes the game look....almost cheap and arcadey like? Idk maybe just the way i see it lmao
I’ve never updated from 3.9.8. Based on the performance issues on the newer version, I’m glad I stayed.
Same from me however I stuck with 3.9.0, is .8 any better? If so, where I can get it?

This was the SWEETSPOT for spt. All the best mods were up to date. It was great.

I still have my 3.9 install thankfully. Been really, really trying to play and optimize 3.10 and performance aside, I find really weird bugs here and there. Sometimes my loot pools are just empty for no reason, never encountered that before this spt version. Along with setting up MOAR, I just cant seem to get the right feel I had in 3.9. I might just go back to 3.9 unfortunately, I like the added featues of 3.10 base spt but 3.9 is so smooth and just works lol.

Either performance and fps on 3.8.9, or holywoodfx with dismemberment and woods having fps of streets on 3.10. What too choose...

Still on 3.9.5. missing 2 mods but feels fine
From now on, I will keep a previous version on SPT (if they happen to fix the performance issues). 3.10 is horrible

I've been on 3.9.5 ,hoping 3.10.x gets better.
I have a nasa pc and the performance for current spt is kinda cringe at times. I get sround 50-80 frames. I have about 75+ mods installed.
How significant the difference is when comparing performance of 3.10 and 3.9.8?

I've been enjoying 3.9.8 for sometime now and currently at level 30. Unfortunately the further I get the more bugs appear. The latest one is that anything I buy from the flea market however small wont go in to my stash with the 'not enough room message' even though there is plenty : (

Is it possible to publish your modpack anywhere? Some mods like MOAR and Artem seem to be unavailable via SPT hub. Tried 3.10 but its astonishingly bad at performance..😢
His mod list is in the description of this video however, these mods are for SPT 3.9.8, not 3.10.5.

more mod makers need to have the foresight to back their shit up...
@@KingLich451 Previous mod versions can be found on the SPT hub. It is only the SPT files themselves that are not backed up on the hub.
Mod packs aren’t a thing with SPT. You’ll want tk go through them all individually to learn them properly and keep them updated.
That's it, i'm also going bacl to 3.9.8. Got so frustrated yesterday ... The performance of 10.x is just terrible.

I miss so bad playing with Swag and unicorn in 3.9, Moar isnt the same, i feel my raids so empty cause the bots didnt move. I have sain and looting bots too, but i dont know why questing bots make my game dont load raids
Swag is so crucial man. Hopefully he updates for 3.10 at some point.
is there legit no possible way to get 3.9.8 if you didn't have it installed before? i desperately want to play and enjoy spt but 3.10 i barely can average a stable 35-40 fps and it's just a terrible experience but i never played spt before 3.10 :(

@thestarvox can we arrange a magical zip upload of the 3.9.8? I will gladly buy merch 😂. The latest nvidea GPU driver update did help the performance, but it's still a huge downgrade compared to 3.9.8.

ngl... I also want to try 3.9.8. Already managed to "get" all the necessary stuff. But I'm missing a couple mods that weren't backed up, like Artem and MOAR... I'm not sure how I'm gonna acquire their 3.9 versions.
Moar cannot be acquired anymore, unfortunately, mod author mentioned that he discarded all previous versions, and links on SPT hub are all dead.. Sad but true.

You’re just going to install the latest version if you have something before 3.10
how did you tirn off mask effect on RM? the Death Shadow mask.

you can have separate folders containing different versions of spt.
@ I never keep anything SPT related, I just deleted my current version if SPT burned out with everything Tarkov and 3.10 is ass for performance anyway
