- David Bloomberg and Jessica Lewis are doing double-duty this week for the split Tribal Councils. Tim and Soda played very different games but both accidentally put targets on themselves. Soda’s had been brewing for a while, but Tim’s was more a product of his actions during the tribe split. What were the similarities in the reasons they went out at the same time? Could each have done something differently to save themselves? Plus, what’s going on with Venus in the game? It’s time to figure out Why Tim and Soda Lost.

After watching Tim’s exit interviews, he still doesn’t get it. He’s giving me Season 1-10 old school vibes and/or “Naviti strong Kellen in Ghost Island”. He got so hung up on “well Siga went out last week, no we have to do Nami” when it just made him seem like he’d always be Siga strong. His exit interviews are frustrating because he still wouldn’t acknowledge how flawed his game was.
Imo i cant fault Soda too much for going out here bc theres no reason Tevin should have targeted her.
i think Tevin targeted Soda bc he didnt want to be seen as a pair? especially since like he said Soda is toooo social. i think he felt like ppl would eventually try to “break them up” and ppl who take out pair usually take out the “stronger player” of the two. to avoid this and keep his threat level low.. boom just take her out himself😭.
The seed in Tevin's head was planted from the guy that was medical evacuated that Soda is to much so a social butterfly and it can be just one of them in his tribe
Maria extended an olive branch as a human and tried to explain how she felt and that venus was being a little pushy.
Now all of twitter is calling Maria names saying she wants to only get young women out and she's jealous and a cop.Etc..
Not sure if it's because venus has simps or the world is crazy.. I dont get it honestly
Some of it is Venus stans. Some of it is just the way different people can view different situations.

In all seriousness though Maria did nothing wrong, I appreciated her direct honesty and she clearly had good intentions

if I was playing I would absolutely want to sit next to Venus in the end. she is one of the most unlikable players to have played in a long time.

Venus is the newest version of AbiMaria, but thinks that she’s Parvati. I’d like to say Venus is a lock for zero vote final three, but I almost think she’ll just get so annoying they vote her out early (ala Abi)

What a delusionally off-base comparison. Did you even watch Abi-Maria's seasons? Venus's pushiness and over-the-top scheming is nothing compared to the devil spawn that was Abi-Maria. Not even one member of the cast has referred to Venus as "annoying" and their complaints have mostly been based around her untrustworthiness and poor gameplay
@@timpearson4202 What season 46 are you watching? Tevin has literally called her annoying so many times. No she hasn’t sent a coconut flying at Skoopins head, but she closer to Abi than a Parvati. Even Sodas exit interview said “I liked her probably, but since Tevin/Hunter/Liz couldn’t stand her, I had to distance myself from her”.
Even though he didn't cast a vote for her and didn't even go to the same tribal council, Hunter played a big role in why Soda was eliminated. He saw her as a threat to his relationship with Tevin and encouraged Tevin to vote her out when they had the chance. Tevin wanted to vote her out because he couldn't trust her and he couldn't trust her because Nami never had to go to tribal council to draw the lines in the sand. Hunter won Nami every immunity challenge, which in a way got Soda voted out.
Good episode review! My winner pick is Maria. Venus may be able to toe the line but not for long/ many players are not fond of her game and she’s also an easy vote out. Her or Ben is next IMHO!

Venus lost because she tried to be Parvati when she's playing Tevin's game....
....WAIT! SODA went out instead?
To be fair, both Tevin and Venus had the same idea.
The issue is that Venus had zero social capital to get that group to move on Soda; she had more than ample information to know she lacked the juice to convince this particular group to move on Soda; and yet in that moment Venus (at least appeared to) fully believed she had the power to pull off this blindside. And that is going to be her kryptonite.
She also was going for tevin, not soda
