      @@johnnysweekends Same here, recently we were on a camping trip when we noticed a very slight propane odor and tracked it to one of the outlets on the 20# propane tree. We used a bronze cap to shut the faulty outlet and the issue solved.
      Awesome tool.

    Wow, I cannot believe how inexpensive those have become in the last 10 years. I bought a good one from Grainger back in 2009 for over $500 if I recall. And they had units over $1000 or more. These $25 units seem to get great reviews. With your discount code, I'm going to have to try one, and maybe compare to my fancy one!

      If you do please let me know how it compares. But yea they have come down a lot to where now I’m glad I can have one.
      Especially in the Rv world!
      Thanks for the comment

    Question: is it safe to use this when there is a gas leak? I know its made to check but wouldn't the slightest spark set the gas off? They say don't even use your cell phone...

    • @johnnysweekends
      @johnnysweekends  Год назад

      Yes, these emit no sparks and those topics have been taking into consideration. I have used this darn thing alot. And if it was able to cause a flash it would have done so already.

    Very important thing to have when using a generator or a grill. However, I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a working carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector and check the batteries before every trip. Nobody likes a gas leak but carbon monoxide on the other hand...deadly! Absolutely deadly! So, always check the battery in your gas pen on this video, carbon monoxide detectors, and smoke detectors before every trip, during clock changes, and prior to every major holiday and family gatherings. Check batteries on everything. You can never be too careful.

      Agree, always have more then one especially in the room you sleep..👍🏼

      @@johnnysweekends Especially in sleeping rooms. As a matter of fact, landlords are required to provide smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in rental properties. But especially in sleeping rooms for sure.
