As a Nigerian, I take our music for granted, because we all grew up playing it with, agogo, udu, shekere, small slit log drum, clapping, flute and rhythm drum. The new generation of Nigerians added modern musical instruments, and creatively layered the raw, local rhythm with western melodies. The rhythm has always been with us. And you can hear many variations of it playing in every corner. That's why we take it for granted. I am glad many people love Nigerian music.
