Very common issue with older receivers is the failure of silver mica caps used in the IF and RF cans. You will see it referred to as silver mica disease. Great videos, nice job!
Trace out that RCA connector next to the added SO-239 coax antenna connector. That RCA may be an added output for an 8 ohm speaker (impedance matched through that added transformer). Hams are all about adding features to their rigs, much more so than doing full capacitor replacement jobs!
ALWAYS do alignments AFTER the electronics is repaired. Otherwise, you will chase your tail and have to do the alignment AGAIN !!! Leaky caps ut of tolerance R's all need to be fixed FIRST. Then you may find a MUCH EASIER alignment... Good Luck !
That so called phono input is an output to a 4 or 8 ohm speaker! It's not original. That transformer was added by someone. There should be two antenna terminals and a ground terminal there. There is a phono input but that's not it!

Oh, that's a good thought. makes more sense.
The RF generator output should be set as LO as possible to prevent saturation. The alignment needs to be done in a specific order.

Need to be a brain surgeon to get into those caps! Keep at it though!
I had bad experience with COMPOSITION RESISTORS that their value went UP.
Haste makes waste! Saying that I would do capacitor leakage tests first then replace as needed.
