Singing Americans 1984 Full Concert

Singing Americans at the Joyful Noise Supper Club, 1984. Not very good quality, but I've never found a better one. With Rick Strickland, Ed Hill, Michael English, Dwayne Burke, Biney English, Martin Guresko and guest Mike LeFevre. Would absolutely LOVE a first generation copy. Note, sound on one channel cuts out. It is on the original recording.

So I’m late to this party, but Michael English’s ad lib verse of “Bowed On My Knees” is simply astounding. And just think, he never won a Favorite Lead Singer award, but was the voice that influenced a generation.

I’ve said this in another post, this has to be one of the greatest talent line ups ever in Southern Gospel music. By far one of my favorite groups to ever perform. There wasn’t a finer emcee and manager than Ed Hill! Thanks for sharing this video

I used to eat at that restaurant with Big Mama, my great grandmother. The Joyful Noise, as shown on the stage, is the name of this restaurant. They sung happy birthday to me one time up there. I was so embarrassed, but I was a really shy kid.
