It would be a lot more work for you to call each food place to see if they have any deliveries and then deliver. When I got to Vogtle I had enough to pay my house and car payment but barely. That was over 5 years ago and I thank god everyday for this job. I’m now a foreman and have to wear work boots 10.5 hours a day 5-7 days a week, but it’s afforded me a life I wasn’t sure was possible. I wish more young men would get out of high school and join the trades. I’m 49 but I won’t need more than 5 more years of construction to make more than I know what to do with in real estate, my chosen investment with my wife. I would also like to try Uber eats, solely for the experience.

I work at a pizza shop
    I get paid $3.15 ( Per delivery )
Plus I keep 100% of my tips.
    I work A Sunday shift
    10 AM - 9 PM
I also get payed $45 for filling up the fridge and making pizza boxes from 11 AM - 4 PM
I average about 38 deliveries every Sunday
    38 x $3.15 = $119.70
Obviously tip varies, everyone tips differently but it’s as if on average everyone tips $7 if I were to divide my tips between 38 deliveries
    $7 x 38 ( deliveries) = $266
    So
    $266 in tips
    + $119.70 ( from the $3.15 / per delivery)
+ $45 ( for filling up the fridge and making boxes
    = $430.70 in one day 10 AM - 9 PM
    ( minus about $20 In gas for the car 🚗 ⛽️ )

I do Uber and Uber Eats in the St. Louis area. Here, it's all done by car. In NYC, do they limit the distance better? I sometimes get sent 20 minutes (again, via car) to pick up the food and 30 minutes to deliver it. It wouldn't be possible on a bike, unless you were training for a marathon and only wanted to do 2-3 orders per day.

    • @haroldvelez514

Yes I do it walking in the soho area whenever I have down time and it made me some good money. They limit the distance the farthest is like 6-7 blocks in the city your always around every food spot so it won’t take long to get there
