  • Artanis having speech before the Final Mission of Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void
    Check out the entire Starcraft 2 Legacy of The Void Walkthrough Playlist:
    bit.ly/sc2-lega...
    ►StarCraft II features the return of the three species from the original game: Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. In the Terran campaign, the original StarCraft briefing room is replaced with an interactive version of the battlecruiser Hyperion, with Jim Raynor, now a bitter and hard-drinking mercenary captain, as the central character. In a departure from previous Blizzard games, the campaign is non-linear, with Raynor taking jobs for money and using that money to buy additional units and upgrades.
    ►Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void. You are Hierarch Artanis, leader of the mighty protoss race. Years ago, your homeworld of Aiur fell to the merciless zerg Swarm. Now, at long last, you have raised a powerful fleet of warships known as the Golden Armada, and are poised to reclaim your world. But an ancient evil-Amon-threatens this destiny and the fate of the entire galaxy. Only you can reunite the protoss factions and defeat the coming darkness before it consumes all life in the sector.
    ►Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty features approximately the same number of units as the original StarCraft. Some units from the original game have returned, some featuring new upgrades and abilities. Wings of Liberty has 29 playable campaign missions, but only 26 of them are playable in a single playthrough since three missions are choice-related alternates.
    ►Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm has 20 missions in the campaign (plus 7 evolution missions which allows the player to upgrade its units), and continues the story from Wings of Liberty.The player plays from the perspective of Sarah Kerrigan, recently returned to her human form by Jim Raynor. Similar to Wings of Liberty, the briefing room is replaced with an interactive exploration of the Leviathan, an enormous zerg breed which functions as a Bioship. Kerrigan and her allies are located in the nerve center, she has a personal chamber for altering her abilities, and there is an evolution pit where she can upgrade her units and perform evolution missions with the evolution master Abathur.

    The speech is almost the same one from Wings of Liberty where you play Zeratul's visions and see the end of the world. Only this time they're going to win.

      I realized something. Since protoss dont talk but just send their thoughts with psyonic ability if terran was stending there he would just see bunch of alienes standing in silence🤣🤣🤣

      @@CF-or3ci I think their telepathy is "public" telepathy, which is basically the same as talking. While "private" telepathy needs more effort since the loss of the Khala.
      Still, funny if that's the case.

      @@tengamangapiu Yeah it would appear they don't even have orifices at all. I believe they recharge using solar power, almost like plant entities. And Blizzard refuses to canonize how they procreate, lol.

    I truly believe this speech is directed to real humans. What protoss have been through it's precisely the division and disunity humans nowadays go through. We must do as the protoss did and stop competing among ourselves in order to become a superior civilization

    Theory: He had the speech prepared since Brood War. That's why he used it in both timelines.

    • @SuperDud3ed
      @SuperDud3ed 3 года назад

      He didn't use this speech in Brood War, he used it in Zeratul's vision of the future in SC2: Wings Of Liberty.

    • @acedeci4560

      @@SuperDud3ed they mean he wrote the speech during the events of brood war, meaning he had it on standby incase his race god further fucked

    • @RockyX456
      @RockyX456 Год назад +2

      @@SuperDud3ed What he's saying is he had it prepared long before the events of both (during Brood War) but he has been waiting for a time to use it. Hence why the speech was very similar in both timelines.

    • @SuperDud3ed
      @SuperDud3ed Год назад

      @@RockyX456 Impossible, because he wasn't made the Hierarch until long after the events in Broodwar. He wasn't even an executor in Broodwar. (Edit) I am not disagreeing that he had that speech prepared. He obviously had it prepared, but it was prepared a lot more recently.

    • @Zeracan
      @Zeracan Месяц назад +1

      @@SuperDud3edHe was continuing Tassadar's legacy of uniting the two factions of Protoss back in Broodwar. So yeah. He could have had a speech like this prepped. Just the foe went from being Zerg annihilation to hybrid annihilation.

    This speech is fantastic... but I still preferring Raynor's "Fire and Fury"... Artanis knew how and what to say from the beginning, while Raynor just performed a great and epical improvisation at the middle of the battleground.

      That's fairly exemplary of each race, isn't it? :)
      Protoss culture is full of ritual and formality.
      Terran culture is the culture of "Hold my beer, now watch this!" :)

    My brethren, hear me, for there is little time left. All that remains of our race, our civilization, are those beside you now, and those corrupted on the surface below. Our kind once stood as stewards of a galaxy full of promise. In our pride and division, we failed that sacred charge and fell to ruin. The Khala, designed to bring unity, ultimately only aided those divisions. It's hope was a lie. Today, that lie must come to an end, and with it, our prejudice I and arrogance must become a thing of the past. For we now fight in the belief that our kind has not seen its end. That we Protoss I can stand bound by a belief in unity. And that we Protoss will forge a great and mighty new civilization! Trust each other in the fight ahead. Strike as one will! Let our last stand burn a memory so bright that we will be known throughout eternity! My life for Aiur!
