Gary is very talented guy. Perhaps the nicest bad arse you've featured Lou. God bless Tina for what must be limitless patience. Beautiful and serious work of art. 👍
Boy oh boy, I love this car! My neck would be sore, too if I saw it rolling down the streets. Mr. Timmel's interior work looks fantastic, and that big ol' motor looks great, too. Thanks for finding and spoiling us with this perfect Gasser, Lou!
Very unique, just because they usually use the '55 for any Tri-5 gassers, and the '56s are rarely seen anyways, gasser or no gasser. It's a very underrated body style, I love 'em! Great episode!
wow....i was born in '57 and grew up with a '56 four door that i loved. Also loved 'gassers' as a kid ('41 Willys was a fave). I don't i ever saw the two put together like this. And the work was done by the owner in his garage ?!? Plus a drag car ?? Great!! Off the charts. Great work again, Lou.
¡Excelente video, Lou!
Hi Jaime, Happy to read you appreciate the construction of this car :-) Glad to read you enjoy the sounds too. My pleasure sharing this car with you, Lou
Beautiful car Lou. My 56 BelAir 2 door hardtop was once upon a time a gasser with a 396 and 3 deuces and a 4 speed and 4.11 gears. Mine is a 2 door hardtop which is kinda rare for a gasser. I'm not building it back as a gasser though. Just a 350 with 3 deuces and an automatic.
Love the car but not crazy about the flames. Would be fun to take it for a rip or two down the strip. The old guy (sorry, didn't catch his name) does some nice work. Thanks Lou !
