- Finally chasing Muskies again! I am joined by @Matt Vavroch Fishing and @Angling Anarchy on a beautiful Iowa lake to chase Post Spawn Musky. We run into quite a few fish and I cover what to look for and what to use when chasing Muskie this time of year.

Great video! Looks like it was an epic Iowa trip. Quick question - on the musky that hit on Brian's Navin in the Figure 8, it looked like Brian was continuing a jerking presentation thru the 8. Is that what you typically do too? I have been just doing straight 8's with mine so far, and admittedly they don't have much action that way. Thanks!
Usually yeah, I will do something similar. I think adding a pause in the 8 with a jerk/glide bait is a great way to get a strike! Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!!

Why wasn't anyone setting the hook back into the fish? I feel like you all pulled it straight away from every bite.

Its not necessary always anyway. Pulling direct if the fish eats at the right angle can set better. But, Ben, get some Mustad 35656BR 3/0 hooks on all those guppies!
