@cortneylott yes you can use a lacross ball but it may be too intense directly on the piriformis. Also there are alot of nerves in the glutes you must be careful not to irritate them. The Travel Roller works wonders because of the size and the elasticity of the foam like a real therapists fingertips! Plus more broad pressure vs direct.
Great information, and yes, they are very comfortable with each other. I dont think I would go any farther than that, though. Both are great looking people, for sure!

I just hired a trainer to lose some weight! every time i went to the gym I would always not go back due to pain with sciatica. The trainer i hired finally was a real trainer the other were jokes from the old bally's gym. This guy put me on the roller and when i felt any inkling of pain whipped out the lacrosse ball. Fast forward 4 weeks when i thought all hope was gone for losing weight and getting back to the gym. NO pain, lacrosse ball even feels better than when i first started. I no longer fear squats. I can't believe how this roller worked wonders on me I literally limped every day and was taking at least 6 NSAIDS or ibuprofen per day. I take now take none and use omega 3's. Hope this helps someone....
THKS! You inspired me. I'm gonna try the gym with a "real trainer" & called a good one today. I have piriformis syndrome rite now & it hurts like HELL. I used very heavy ankle weights improperly. After I heal I'll do things correctly & not waste time/energy exercising wrong.

Great instructor here! Often overuse and bone alignment cause these issues, see a Chiropractor first. Then start a therapeutic routine specifically for your issues.

Can you use a lacrosse ball for this as well? I feel like that gets a lot deeper than a foam roller does.
hello..i have been suffering from this pain for last 3 months.. it comes while walking on a slope, stairs, running, rubbing my feet on the floor in backward direction.. during walking pain is 2 out of 10.. the maximum amount is 6 out of 10 during single leg squat.. when i wake up in the morning there is no pain... the pain gets even worse while streching forward(harmstring).. i have been doing your way for last 3 days but it ain't working.. i am an athlete.. i have done everything that i could... muscle relaxer tablets, heat etc i have try everything except MRI... what should i do???? please show me the right path...
