If you are in Crete, don't miss the mountain church in the south of the island. It's a little gem, especially in spring when everything is still in bloom.
Very nice little church with a great view. Reachable from Damnoni within a 15-minute hike from the end of the bay, at a normal pace, sturdy shoes are recommended. You can almost get up from the other side by car, but I would recommend the hike.
