So happy to find your channel. I'm a beginner to gardening in the north. I enjoy watching your videos, not only your beautiful garden and helpful tips, also your beautiful voice. THANK YOU!
You’re welcome, and thank you for your compliments! 😊 I’m so happy you found me, but even happier to read that you’re beginning to garden! I have found so much joy in gardening, and hope you will too! 🩷 Feel free to ask questions or share your thoughts on videos anytime!
Why thank you Blake! 😊 I really appreciate your saying that, as I hope to bring some peacefulness and sanity to gardeners and gardening. And when it’s horribly hot and humid outside, we need it even more! 🥵😀🐝🧡
It's been a great year for hydrangeas pretty much everywhere it seems. Mine in NE Ohio are doing better than they ever have. I have Amsonia 'bluestar', and I really appreciate the blue-tinted foliage and that nothing eats the leaves; they look perfect all summer long. But they literally quadrupled in size compared to when I planted them three years ago. They are now totally crowding out their neighbors, even though they remain tightly-packed clumps. Guess I'll have to divide them!
I think you’re right about hydrangeas this year! I like those blue-tinted leaves on Amsonia bluestar - very different than the bright green of Storm Cloud. 💙 And yours are obviously very happy in their spot, so you’ll get to enjoy even more of them once divided. That’s wonderful! 😀
Oh Mary, then you know how special it is to see the mourning doves spending time together! 🤗 I love watching them. And yes, panicle hydrangeas are such a favorite for me too! 🌿🤍🌿
I love all bees, but bumbles are my favorite! Great footage! Our hibiscus has not started to bloom yet. The new bush planted last year did not make it, but the white one is growing back strong.
Hi Jean! I love bumblebees too - they are so cute when covered in pollen! 🐝 Sorry your one hibiscus didn’t make it, but glad to hear your other one is doing well. 🤍 I love how well they can take the heat! 🌞

Your laughter😂 always make me happy 😊 thinking of my sister!
Oh that makes me happy to read this Marie! Thank you for sharing this with me! ❤️
'Making a Bee of oneself' seems more appropriate for gardeners than ' Making a Pig of oneself'!
Lovely video Laura
So glad you enjoyed it! 😊 And I love “making a bee of oneself” especially after seeing bees covered in pollen! 🤣🐝
looking beautiful! thank you for sharing.
My pleasure Sonie - so happy you enjoyed it! 🦋🐝

Wow !!! The new bed is looking great 🤩 Thanks for sharing 😉
My pleasure Lorraine! And yes, I’m so happy with how well the perennials are settling in so quickly. 😀🐝
lol! We also have a set of mourning doves that have been here for years! I can’t have enough panicle hydrangeas, so many varieties 😊

Looks good! My butterfly bush is in the sun baked dead zone and it’s getting huge. I’m very impressed.
Thanks Will! That’s so awesome about your butterfly bush! 🦋 I’m really starting to enjoy plants that don’t need to be watered a lot. 💦
I'm also in zone 7, I currently have my butterfly bushes in containers temporarily. Maybe I'm watering them too much. They are blooming 😊 though.
Butterfly bushes do well in containers! 🦋 If they are blooming and healthy, then you’re doing everything right. 😀👍
