Panasonic Leica 50-200 4k video test footage (with 1.4x TC)

I did some test shots with my new Panasonic Leica 50-200 F2.8-F4 lens. All footage was shot handheld with different setups: lens only, with 1.4x TC or with ext. TC and all together. Giving you an equivalent FoV of about 800mm in small format. I also filmed the first part with manual focus and the second part with AFC (human/animal detect).

Nice video. Very good stabilization and focus work. Like the lonely gull and the duck at the end.
Most versatile combo the 50-200 and TC. I have the 100-400 and 35-100, make me thinking this could be an alternative.

Gerüchteweise soll es ja bald eine G9 II geben mit phase detect AF. Könnte dann seit langem mal wieder eine neue Kamera werden. Obwohl die G9 immernoch gut ist.

Hi. I filmed through the EVF mostly so touchscreen was not an option. But usually Touch AF works quite well.

Many thanks for this very informative video. It makes me think of buying this lens.
Because my favorite lens is the Olympus 8-25 mm, I very seldom use AFC. But for street videos taken @ 200 mm, I imagine AFC would help me a lot. Hence I have one question for you : on your G9, how did you set the transition speed for AFC ?

Thank you! You cant set the AF speed / responsiveness in Video on the G9, only for photo modes. The more video centric cameras like GH5, GH6 etc can do this in video modes.
