I think I did a gig there years back supporting "To Hell and Back! " (Meat Loaf Tribute), the lanes and "halls" look familiar...but as for the bikes , just WOW, plenty to reminisce over, the BSAs, the Velocette. Franny Barnett (there was a 225 Cruiser in boxes in my dads garage..) , the GSXs, the Elsies, but mostly the yellow Fizzers, my little PWO344R was my first bike, what a time that was!
I picked that 70 TR6R a few years ago in Georgia. I'm certain it's the same bike as it still has its Georgia inspection stickers on the left fork leg. So glad to see it being enjoyed! It was imported back into the UK by Rob Pettipher in Warwick.
So many memories, it's like I was a young man again. I just got my late brothers GSX 1400, it's a 2003 he bought new and has 2049 on the clock. I'm looking forwards to the Summer to take it out a few times.
That’s amazing, the one thing i love about the classic bikes shows is the passion for the motorcycles is unbelievable, and story’s like yours keeps this channel going. Thanks for sharing.
