Edit: Liquid, you missed the Soldier of Godrick boss and some tutorial messages at the beginning of the game. They're all found down in the hole by the ghost figure seated in a chair next to said hole. I can't recall if you can return there. If you can, it may be helpful to do it. The more runes the better. 😊 *** Thanks for doing this, Liquid. Personally, I enjoyed your OG playthrough. I believe it may have been the first of your content I watched. Definitely one of the first. Serious, dear Fluffy. Can you PLEASE just borrow even just a ps4 from someone?? If I still lives in the UK I would bring you mine just so you could record a playthrough of Bloodborne. I would LOVE to see you play it and so would all your fluffy fans!!!!! PLEASE 🤣
Okay, wasn't expecting this. I genuinely think more channels should revisit games, especially souls games. More ng+/fresh playthroughs of souls games are MORE than welcome
Nice! Looking forward to this. My son was a newborn when I watched your first playthrough and it got me through many nights! Now he is 3 months old! Thanks for the entertainment
Fluffy, some tips to enjoy the game more :) - When you sit near a grace, look at the menu, there might be an option to Talk To Melina to learn more about the world. It mainly appears when you are at some form of church but it also can appear in other specific areas [If my memory serves me right] - When You have an option to talk to someone try to talk to them more, for example you talked to Kalé only once but he might have told you something different the second time until the option either disappears or the person will repeat himself - Also do not forget that the NPC's still work the same as in Dark Souls. That means they are shy and won't progress questline or move to a different place until you either rest at the grace or teleport to that grace again I hope that you enjoy the game even more than before! Thanks for making my day with these uploads and your beautiful voice.
Thank you for the 3.5 hour video! I’m still working my way through but to answer your one question, if it’s a choice between abridged to major moments and showing everything… I prefer unabridged. Watching the exploration and seeing you find or realise things, hearing your thoughts, is the appeal of this playthrough for me. If I wanted to see only bosses, not only are there plenty of videos out there for that already but that’s what skipping ahead in the video is for. That said, I obviously don’t mind how much you choose to explore, but I prefer to see all of whatever you decide to do, if that makes sense. Feels like we’re more along for the journey that way. Just my thoughts, thanks for considering!
I'm so glad you're doing a second play through of this game. Seeing you tackle it as a fromsoft vet will be enjoyable. I'm on team thorough blitz. Just remember " Patience is key. Panic is anti key" ~ DS Liquid Blitz
Nice! Great idea for an experienced re-visit. Count me as another vote that unabridged is not only fine but best. Enjoy the adventure! Also, the tutorial cave has some useful mechanic clarifications that would help you enjoy your shield. Worth a visit Edit two: I vote for your DLC experience to follow appreciating the base game thoroughly up tot he point of accessing it! You’ll enjoy it more, I’m sure. Just do the content you’re curious about and don’t worry about the pacing
Fun fact! At about 1:01:32 you notice that you get a yellow glow around your character and that a bird foot appears at the top left. That's because the Golden erdtree leaves that fall at certain points during the night gives you a boost to runes you acquire from enemies. It's very fleeting, but if you ever notice it in the future and happen to be around any good mobs, it helps with getting those extra runes for a boost
I learned this very late but you can just fast travel anywhere from any dungeon boss room after defeating the boss. You do not have to use the light that takes you to the dungeon entrance. It's way better because it refills your flasks, removes negative effects etc when that boss room portal does not.
To expand on this a little, once the boss is defeated in a dungeon that normally blocks fast travel, you can then fast travel from anywhere in that dungeon. I was way too deep into my first run before I realized this.
Margit is Morgott, hes just an illusion casted by Morgott to keep people away from the erdtree. Thats why he just spawns on the tower with a yellow glow (same color as the swords and hammer he spawns in during the fight).
Oooo I’m definitely looking forward to watching this series!! Also, the unsheathe ash of war could be super helpful for damage output in boss fights when you can’t parry, don’t dismiss it just yet!
Cant wait too see your second opinion, I think you'll find this a very different experience this time round. I think most bosses can actually be parried Also good to see the knight at the gatefront ruins still humbling people 😂😂 I have never seen such a meal made of a troll 😂
I watched your original blind playthrough of ER, it's how I was introduced to your channel. I'm glad your re-playing this as your first playthrough (enjoyable as it was) left out some great aspects of this game, especially the lore/narrative. Your experience of playing souls games shows, this first episode was a lot more thorough & the combat smoother. Can't wait for you to read and comment on the lore of this game. I expect a greatly enriching & hilariously entertaining playthrough 😂 personally I would love to see everything & not just special segments (that's what the skip button is for) 😊
Watched the first blind playthrough and all of the dark souls since! Really happy to see you back on elden ring and curious to see how the DLC goes when you get there. Thanks for the great content as always blitz!!
Going for Age of frenzy ending. ❤ My favourite To answer your questions about how much I want to see, I want to see everything, 100% playthrough 😊 Also sound and video looks good, though I'm probably not the best to comment on video as I watch these on my phone. You can get Roderika's red hood after you defeat Godrick and she has gone to the hold. The is a pile of corpses with some dogs under a hanging troll in Castle Stormveil. On her way to the hold, apparently she comes there to pay last respects to her men who were grafted and leaves her red hood there.

Fall damage in ER is calculated based on the time passed since your last ground contact. Because of that double jumping not only doesn't prevent fall damage but actually increases it
Not much is quite as humbling as killing yourself on a fall that otherwise wouldn't have, because you threw in an unnecessary double jump thinking it would lower the fall damage.
Please do the whole playthrough in full! I missed your first one and though I have tried to get into since, it would be much more satisfying to watch now that you have cut your teeth on the dark souls games!
Happy to see more Souls content from you! would love to see a full playthrough again not just bosses or dlc. you missed a lot of little things in the first one. i'd also not mind if you use the wiki to complete a quest or find out how far you can go without interupting questlines
Not a spoiler, but yes, there are “special” enemies that appear at night. When you met that NPC in his shack and you switched to night, you have to rest and again change it to night (it usually takes two times). You will then see a new enemy. Also, the first bridge you go over (after you meet monkey boy hidden in the bush) has a special night enemy. I’m loving this Fluffy, I’d love to see you doing full walkthrough.
Hey! First of all I’m very excited to see you revisiting Elden ring for a first playthrough, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your souls experiences. I was wondering if you have thought about dipping into intelligence/magic a little? Elden ring definitely has the best magic experience in any of the souls games imo, and it also fits with dex really well, since dex improves the speed of casting spells (not to mention some pretty awesome dex/int weapons). Please think about it, I think you’d have a blast with it ;)
You passed Souls very well. Thoughtfully. I would like to see you playthrough the Elden Ring, as carefully as possible. I hope to see more thoughts and discussions about the lore. Here it is Big and confusing (more than usual) But interesting and poetic and symbolic. More symbolic and poetic. With strange details that create a wide field for interpretation. For example: you remember "Ranni", when she first appeared 1:17:23 , she said that her name is "Renna")". (then in the tower she will say that she introduced herself with a different name) "Morgit" and "Morgoth". and Others... And in general there are a lot of twins here. Perhaps they have an alternative name/pseudonym, or a double from a parallel universe/alternate/split fate, or this is a reflection of history, where beliefs were mixed, inherited and evolved in a variety of forms. e.g. The Greek pantheon's was adopted almost entirely by the Roman one, but each god had his own Roman names: Mars/Ares, Venus/Aphrodite, etc. You already know that Souls is full of secrets and unusual things. And online messages can lead to some secret or solution. Glad you're online. Sometimes it is better to read the description of an item immediately, without delay. 3:09:23 because It often happens that the location where you found it can also give a lot of insight into the context. An example of the symbolism of an image: "Memory of Grace" 43:28 looks like humanity, a human figurine. + looks like a vision of grace. + Looks like a golden sunset/sunrise reflected in water. And it's very poetic if you think about it.
I watched your whole first blind playthrough it will be great to see this again I just finished the DLC and think I have a few grey hairs after that S**t show haha
I dont mind this revisit: I'll be interested in seeing if you play like I did as I was also a veteran when I first played. However, it was my first playthrough for me and it wont be for you! We'll have to wait for the new game to really compare! Enjoy the experience: I'll still be watching but am still eagerly waiting for you to find a way to play Bloodborne!
The player ghosts running around are in real time, somewhat. It shows anyone that was there 15 seconds ago up to 5 minutes. I’ve never found concrete information to confirm but that’s the best i’ve ascertained from research.
Full play through, please, Sir Fluffy. For a shield play through don't neglect guard counters with a 100% physical protection shield. Heavy attack immediately after blocking.
I'm gonna support this series by giving my like. It's never bad to see you starting a new souls series with you. But please, do whatever it takes to solve the minimizing issue. It's not really hurtful for us but it pains me to see you troubling about it for YEARS now.
@@LiquidBlitzPlays If I was you I would have considered formatting and reinstalling Windows at this point or take the PC to technical support, but I guess those are not options because I can relate how much I dislike to do either.
It's kinda funny how op Samurai is, as a starting class. For any physical character, Samurai is arguably the best choice. A lot of STR weapons need some dex anyways, and since dex doesn't have the x1.5 stat bonus for 2 handing, starting at 15 dex means you don't need to level a lot. And since STR does have thet bonus, you won't need as many points anyways. It has great armour, an insanely good weapon, ranged with bow and arrows. Just fantastic for everything
Looking forward to more Elden Ring videos! Some tips: You can enable a whole menu tab for unread items, not just the exclamation mark! You need to go in the settings though, dont ask me why its not on by default.. You can attack on the left side of the horse with L1 & L2 In this game hybrid builds with a few points in fth or int for buffs are much more viable than your experience in ds3 Imo its worth trying to follow npc quests this time around for the lore. Theyre not as obscure as some examples make you believe, a lot of it is fairly achievable if you listen and explore...which is something i know you can do ;) I would personally suggest you look up some key item locations, at least the smithing stone bell bearings to let you upgrade any weapon you find to an appropriate level, but its ok if you dont want to :)
Re: Roll failure. To the best of my knowledge. When you move in one direction and then in the opposite direction, there's a little stutter animation, because the controls have weight and momentum. Generally this isn't bad and feels satisfying, but during this little turning animation it may eat your roll. Kind of, your character is already off-balance so they can't launch into a roll. Makes sense, but not the most fun. It's one more little habit to have to train on, to not change direction inputs right as you need to roll.
Most bosses take long enough to die from the final hit that you can pop a fowl foot before the runes are given to you and still get the boost. The only reason not to do it every time is because they're rare to find out in the world and mildly annoying to craft.
Also, Uchigatana is one of the top early katanas. Very worth to upgrade. Have you considered in dual katana wielding? You can get a second Uchigatana or a early Nagakiba.
you can pop a chicken feet right after the boss die and get more runes, you can put it into your fast icon for a quick acces, i always do this, this is the same thing as in dark souls 1 2 3 and demons souls, you kill the boss, you put your xp gear and you get more. By the way i'm really happy you say its better in light weight because i always tell you this right from ds1 and i always play with light weight in every games and yes its so much better
Since you can recalibrate your appearance in roundtable hold, brow settings also affect the nose, you should check those out if you want to get the nose right. In Elden Ring you don't get invaded by players if you are not in co-op so there is no problem being online. The best medium shield is the brass shield that Godrick's soldiers drop and the ghosts are real time players. Indeed, if you say no to Melina you can't level up nor do you get the horse. The difference in parry is that in DS1 and 2, all shields had the same parry frames but in 2 they were affected by the ADP stat. In DS3 shields have the same parry frames as ER based on the type of shield but in ER you get some additional skills like golden parry or carian retaliation that make parry easier with any shield. You can get that red hood in Stormveil castle after Roderica moves to the hold. Double jump doesn't stop fall damage. Falls up to 16m do no damage, 16-20m do 20-90% damage (soft cotton negates it) and 20m+ is 100% damage always. A rainbow stone can show if you can survive - if the stone breaks, its over 20m. You can upgrade weapons up to +3 on the anvil next to Kale. You can get to the Hold by resting in a grace outside Limgrave, beating Margit, or losing to him and resting on the grace outside. Fun fact: if you look carefully at it, the grace is the humanity sprite from DS, just reskinned. For the minimizing thing, have you checked if "game mode" is on in windows settings?
Thanks for the tips! Nice to know I can change my appearance :D I've checked every setting known to humankind. I think Razer Synapse might be the culprit. Recorded episode 2 with no issue.
Dex scaling doesn’t increase crit bonus, I don’t know all the crit bonus’ but for example the Lordsworn Greatsword has a 110, and the Uchi has 100 I think daggers and claws have the highest crit rating.
when you play solo you never get invaded beside you ask for it or by NPC edit: the maiden are your guides to the round table hold and so on -> what basically the 3rd demigod is doing guiding you to the tree and helping you level up and so on and so on :) I think that's roughly it... without one you would be stuck at level 1
At 01:30:40 you mentioned the "DS3" mechanic of a massive penalty to not wearing armor pieces, there is NO such mechanic in any souls game. In Elden ring as in all dark souls games, no armor piece means less defense until you are naked so all the defense points you get at this point are only from leveling up stats. (Try equiping and unequiping armor pieces in inventory while looking at right side of the screen then press Y a few times untill you see defense stats. (You'll notice that clothing-like pieces fair better at elemental dmg negation and varius status build-ups and the more beefy armored pieces are better for physical dmg). Sorry for the long a** comment and Enjoy your playthrough
You mentioned killing NPCs this is a terrible idea as you'll miss out on thier quests, only ones you can kill with impunity are the wandering merchants, they don't have quests. Bernahl, the one you almost offed has a game length quest with some ridiculously good items to get, I was cringing when you thought about killing him 😱
First two minutes in and I have to say, again, big respect for today's standards I feel, for NOT streaming a game is a much appreciated gesture towards the viewers on RUclips imo. Nothing against twitchers and the like, but I feel it's more of a distraction than anything else when watching a VOD on RUclips. Especially for more serious games like Souls.
41:36 How is this new information?? That is shown in the very first three images of the intro, and is *literally* said in the second sentence of the intro narration.
HEELLLLS YEAAA BABY. It's been so long already. If you ever think of something better, you can actually change the name in the mirror near Fia. I'm sure 4000 people have already mentioned it but you can only be invaded in co-op or if you used the taunter's tongue. Man if you can't believe people can do no hit runs of bosses you gotta check out Ongbal's vids that dude makes it look stylish, though rn he has videos of the DLC as well as black myth wukong so like spoilers.
@@LiquidBlitzPlaysYeah, it is pretty easy to parry him, but later bosses need to be parried three times. Also two charged attacks from a bigger weapon or two hits of an ash of war will result in a stance break. Which means that you have effectively done more damage to the boss, as you have already landed two hard hitting attacks. You can also boost stance damage with a crystal tear. But honestly, fun is more important than efficiency. I just brought that up because parrying can be a bit frustrating, especially in the late game.
Please use ashes in battles. They are useful tools and since you already beat the game, don't feel like you are cheating when you use them in a battle.
oh, after twohanding weapons I could never go back to shield playthrough. It's just too boring. We'll see if you can :) parry-only is a fun challenge though.

Spoken like a true maidenless. 😅
I love this idea for a playthrough!Very excited to check it out!
Please think about it, I think you’d have a blast with it ;)
I’m still watching through the first playthrough. I’m excited for this 😁 I’ll watch it all over again let’s gooo
3:03:13 you receive a -5% HP debuff on your character from Fia that can be removed by using the item she gave you.
I'm so glad you decided to replay this!
(then in the tower she will say that she introduced herself with a different name)
"Morgit" and "Morgoth". and Others... And in general there are a lot of twins here.
Perhaps they have an alternative name/pseudonym,
or a double from a parallel universe/alternate/split fate,
or this is a reflection of history, where beliefs were mixed, inherited and evolved in a variety of forms.
because It often happens that the location where you found it can also give a lot of insight into the context.
An example of the symbolism of an image:
"Memory of Grace" 43:28 looks like humanity, a human figurine. + looks like a vision of grace.
+ Looks like a golden sunset/sunrise reflected in water. And it's very poetic if you think about it.
Im soooo happy you are back to ER!
I'm particular to the Welsh voice actors, myself. Love that accent.
YES! MORE CONTENT
I’ve tried everything at this point.
5:59 no don't say that, your first playthrough was awesome, which I'm likely gonna rewatch soonish
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand saved to watch list! time to binge this while i learn vordt of the borealis valley on piano!
(this song on piano is harder than the game series itself)
Hype been waiting for this again!!!!
Looking forward to more Elden Ring videos!
Some tips:
You can enable a whole menu tab for unread items, not just the exclamation mark! You need to go in the settings though, dont ask me why its not on by default..
You can attack on the left side of the horse with L1 & L2
In this game hybrid builds with a few points in fth or int for buffs are much more viable than your experience in ds3
Imo its worth trying to follow npc quests this time around for the lore. Theyre not as obscure as some examples make you believe, a lot of it is fairly achievable if you listen and explore...which is something i know you can do ;)
I would personally suggest you look up some key item locations, at least the smithing stone bell bearings to let you upgrade any weapon you find to an appropriate level, but its ok if you dont want to :)
One Good Thing with dex weapon is that you can get your hands on Bleed weapons that are fast and quite painful to mobs just for future Knowledge
Yes you can use the golden foul foot whenever you went to
Awesome! Tbh I used your blind playthrough kind of as a guide for my first time playing elden ring (which I started just a couple week back)
Also, Uchigatana is one of the top early katanas. Very worth to upgrade. Have you considered in dual katana wielding? You can get a second Uchigatana or a early Nagakiba.
Happy to see you, sir Fluffy.
you can pop a chicken feet right after the boss die and get more runes, you can put it into your fast icon for a quick acces, i always do this, this is the same thing as in dark souls 1 2 3 and demons souls, you kill the boss, you put your xp gear and you get more. By the way i'm really happy you say its better in light weight because i always tell you this right from ds1 and i always play with light weight in every games and yes its so much better
1:55:33 You can parry them off the horses. I think you'll like this info :)
Nice to know I can change my appearance :D
I've checked every setting known to humankind. I think Razer Synapse might be the culprit. Recorded episode 2 with no issue.
Please be thorough in your second playthrough you'll thank your curiosity
Especially in elden ring
The weight only changes roll distance.you get the same frames.
oh we are so back speedrun time let’s go
very excited you’ve chosen dexterity it’s always my go to it’s so solid
He already have a build in mind.
Dex scaling doesn’t increase crit bonus, I don’t know all the crit bonus’ but for example the Lordsworn Greatsword has a 110, and the Uchi has 100
I think daggers and claws have the highest crit rating.
when you play solo you never get invaded beside you ask for it or by NPC
edit: the maiden are your guides to the round table hold and so on -> what basically the 3rd demigod is doing guiding you to the tree and helping you level up and so on and so on :) I think that's roughly it... without one you would be stuck at level 1
"He is starting to believe"
You mentioned killing NPCs this is a terrible idea as you'll miss out on thier quests, only ones you can kill with impunity are the wandering merchants, they don't have quests. Bernahl, the one you almost offed has a game length quest with some ridiculously good items to get, I was cringing when you thought about killing him 😱
*no roll* Rolling/dodging while in battle cost stamina where as rolling outside of battle if “free” same with sprinting..
This is a bigger comeback than oasis.
i am tarnished, lord of the tarnation
Stance breaks >parry
Nice!
I’d actually advise against parrying. It’s pretty useless in Elden Ring, as stance breaking is significantly easier and has the same reward.
I mean I just slapped Margit (In episode 2) harder than I ever slapped a thing before. Parrying turned him into swiss cheese.
All hail Fluffitoo!
Please use ashes in battles. They are useful tools and since you already beat the game, don't feel like you are cheating when you use them in a battle.
oh, after twohanding weapons I could never go back to shield playthrough. It's just too boring. We'll see if you can :)
parry-only is a fun challenge though.
wait what? I'm not fluffy...
I'm super fluffy!
So this time you're on a flaky controller, last time weren't you still using the old broken keyboard?
LB could you consider playing Outer Wilds please? Whack it on the polls or however you choose. You won't be disappointed.
Ok fluffy.heres the thing with parry’s. Not as good in Elden ring, multiple reasons
Should be good.
Your Dark Souls runs benefited from picking a direction and just committing to it. First episode here felt scattered and unfocused.
Questlines are easier.
forget about this and return to monke
After souls games you should try ninja gaiden, it's haaaard too.
