Actually I thought it was just vegetation - so your video was particularly informative and enjoyable. I was amazed to see that it is populated. And that meal - I could have snatched it away! Ha ha! 😆Girl I never do that! I mean, a little above the eyelid if there is anything, but I never change their shape or do a lot. I am very lazy about my appearance in general, it's one of the reasons I like the red hair. I dye it every so often and then I feel satisfied it's enough so I never have to style it or anything. And the only makeup is waterproof eyeliner which lasts for a few days. So I paint it on after a shower and then don't remove it till my next shower which is usually 2 days later 🤣Roll outta bed and be ready to go 😎

      @Gventures  Год назад

      Green, with fruits? Anywhere along the Nile, which is where most people live in Egypt. But I mean, it is a desert country, so you don't have to go very far from the Nile and it is just sand and desert. The south is the more agricultural part of Egypt. But again, it is a desert country...

    • @Gventures
      @Gventures  Год назад +1

      For what it was, I don't think it was very high. It could have been cheaper, but it was served with a lot of food, and most places with a view are typically more costly, anywhere in the world. Compared to what I usually eat, which is street food, of course it is a very expensive restaurant. But for a sit-down restaurant, with views of the Nile like this, it wasn't shocking.

    Hello Gisselle, greetings!!! I have not seen your videos lately, but I will do as soon as I am free. Busy lately..... I have a question, I will go to Egypt this summer, so this time I will bring some electronic devices for gifts ( 3 in total), so my question is : In there any problem at the Cairo airport? with the security? usually I bring my 2 cell phones and my laptop, but no problem. So this time I am not sure what it happens? could you please advise? Many thanks in advance.

    • @Gventures
      @Gventures  Год назад

      Hey Carlos! Awesome to hear you're returning this summer, when are you coming exactly? You should message me while you're here! About the gifts: They need to be your personal belongings to be accepted by the airport security, so remove whatever electronic devices you are planning to bring as gifts from their packaging/box and you will be fine. If they are still in their boxes, they will assume you are trying to sell them and will not allow you to enter with them. So best to just open the devices and throw away their packaging. If they ask you about them just make up a story about why you have an excessive number of something (I need 2 laptops for work, I have 3 cameras because I am a photographer, etc.)

      Hmm, I don't really know how much time I had to wait, but I wasn't in a rush. If it did take 45 mins to be served, it definitely didn't feel like it! But I was relaxing, talking to the table next to me, recording video clips and taking in the view, so it may have been and the time just flew by.

      Thanks! I am now a subscriber, I might as well since I saw most of your videos on Egypt. I will be there next month with my wife. I reserved a hotel on the island. • @Gventures
      @Gventures  Год назад +1

      @@cwj224 Honestly, I'm not ALL that familiar with Aswan nightlife, just because I haven't lived in Aswan, and I can't compare the island nightlife to the city because I was never on the island at night. I am sure there is more happening in the city than on the island, though. Be aware that while people do tend to stay up late in Egypt, there isn't a TON of things to do at night exactly, mainly just walking around people watching or sitting at a restaurant or cafe, and many of the places that stay open late are local. The big thing about everywhere I've been in Egypt (all cities, whether it's Cairo or Hurghada or Aswan or Luxor, etc.) is that things are pretty spread out and far apart, so it's not like you can just hit a busy "eat street" or something (unless it's the Marina in Hurghada maybe 😅) and you will be doing a lot of walking if you aren't taxiing around. Just a heads up 😁But Aswan is very beautiful and although I never ate at any of the restaurants on the shore of the mainland, I saw a few restaurants that seemed popular with visitors as well. The views of the Nile in Aswan are the BEST 🤩And thanks so much for subscribing! 🥰

    • @Gventures
      @Gventures  Год назад

      Hi Raja! There are many types of visas, it depends on many things. There are tourist visas, work visas, student visas, etc. I came on a tourist visa and extended it several times. But it completely depends on not only your nationality, but maybe how the immigration officer is feeling like that day. Some people request an extension and only receive one month, while others are granted a year. It varies a lot.

      No, it's an island so you'll need to take a boat to get to elephantine island, or any of the islands out there, for that matter. I took the ferry which was super cheap. If you are looking to do the same, here are two locations where you can catch the ferry for like 5 EGP (last time I was there it was in Feb 2023, it costed 5 EGP).
