The most important thing in this game is don't trust anyone. You will have to learn this the hard way. Also good job on making your base stone and with airlock. Can't wait to see new videos!

This was so fun to watch. For all their similarities, rust and dayz still have a lot of differences.
You did really good with your 2x1 base and the airlock was correct, nothing you can really do to stop people glitching through the door.
There are recyclers at most monuments that will turn the comps you get from breaking barrels into raw material like metal frags, cloth, and scrap.
With this start I'd focus on getting 2 metal doors down to protect from flame raids, a bow with arrows, and a T1 work bench to craft better weapons and tools. Then kill a few animals to get low grade fuel to make a furnace and leather for armour.

I believe it was you who suggested rust, it was on sale so thought I’d give it ago! Been really enjoying rust so far, definitely a hard game to understand and get into but really enjoying it!
@@TheGamingPod_ it's one of those game where you can learn everything about it but have to play to get better.
Rly nice to watch :D brings back old memories. A few tips for this: You can pick up the door by open it and hold E for a bit, first unlock then pick up lock, after that the door. Always by holding E and you are able to break walls up to 10 min after you place them, after that its perm. Also you can watch around by holding ALT key while still running forward. And last just enjoy the game and have fun man, sorry if my english is a bit broken but if you need some help with Rust just let me know

Just something that annoyed me, the blue huys on the road with m9 pistol and the guys down the elevator are ai‘s
And a little tip maybe farm the road for some sewing kits or rope and go to outpost snd recycle them for cloth
Ahh I didn’t even realise there was ai’s in the game! That’s a good thing to know! This was my first run on rust so didn’t know about the outpost to recycle either.

@@TheGamingPod_ If only you had played in rusts prime years back in 2017 to 2022 that was the best time of the games life, it’s not anywhere near as fun as it should be now. But Honestly I do hope you have fun as that’s what games are for. Just don’t turn it into a full time job like i did, play for the goal of having fun and not farming it’ll make the blows less impactful when you wake up offlined every single day !
