Two things make me worried about the Kimmich transfer. The first one being that he is not really a single pivot CDM, which I think are Barca's plan with him. Secondly, his transfer made a whole lot more sense when Hansi Flick was the top candidate to take over next season. He knows Kimmich inside and out, and they had a great relationship during one of Bayern's most succesful periods ever. I just don't know if Xavi can get the best out of him. Xavi still lacks a lot of experience on this level, and I see the team struggleling next year too. So, how would Kimmich perform in a Barca side struggling??? Kimmich is a world class player, no doubt. But Barca has a questionable reputation of not getting the best out of the players coming in.
