Why water elemental over cosmic anomaly? It just seems spell damage is a lot better when you’re slinging spells around.
What does quest shaman have on turn 3 that can kill a 5 health minion?

I tried a version pretty close to this, but only went 50%, I didn't get the Mana Giants in my pack openings and was a bit iffy on whether or not I should commit to crafting them. The bright spot for me is Chenvala felt better in practice than I was expecting and elemental allies felt pretty consistent in general, though on occasion it made me miss Fire Fly being in standard.
Firefly would be way too good in this deck lol

Why not cut a mana reservoir and replace with new quest for more spell gen?
Well considering this deck struggles early game its arguably better to have another card instead of the quest. Personally I think there are much better elementals that could be run like quicksand, firehawk or even arcane servant

Is there a reason people don't run mage quest with this deck? Seems like a really good fit but I haven't seen it make the cut on youtube yet
the thing is the quest block one spot in the starting hand without doing anything imediatly plus you cant even realy use the hero power after completing the quest since you dont realy have mana left

So they basically made dragons soul (or whatever that priest weapon was called) except for a class that could've used it
AllHandsOnDik ya basically. If the weapon was for mage instead it would have probably been good enough to carry a mage deck and people woulda just started running weapon destruction to shut it down. But chenvalla is easier to get rid of consistently before it does crazy stuff. So not sure which card would be better in a mage deck

How do you play this?
I wish I could be up in Rank 7 where this deck opens perfectly every game and every opponent plays like they have suffered one too many hits to the head from a baseball bat....
I know right it's like the tubers are always against trash players not a single removal spell and no new cards in the enemy deck and on top of that noone could even get in the server at this time
It's like he's just play testing bots that card is easily taken off the board 9/10 the next turn
@@danielarmstrong1575 ...or the streamers just selectively upload the matches where it actually works. It would be a pretty terrible highlight video if it was just loss after loss. Plus with a streamer like Regis his "100% WR" claim isn't meant to be taken seriously. This is just a fun deck when it pops off, not a reliable climbing deck.
What about a paladin quest deck with the new paladin legendary, to give many boosts To your dragons?

I play a dragon battlecry shaman deck, I've been beating most other decks but I have to admit that chenvaala is a problem, mage has so many ways to freeze or remove minions and their best spells cost almost nothing to cast. 5 health is an awkward position for a shaman when it comes to removal straight from the hand if the mage can play it on an empty board on turn 3. I got wrecked by a chenvaala mage early on so I had to adjust my deck to give me a better early game so that I could better compete again it, but on a positive note, it also has won me every game since then against pirate warrior. Overall, I think that chenvaala is a very strong card if you can protect it and get some value out of it early on.

@@jowlzaahNZ I stopped playing shaman a while ago because even after the nerfs its pretty unfair. I'm playing a tempo control warlock now, every game is an uphill battle, especially against rogues and shaman's but it's fun.

Yeah you have to get lucky draws for it to work, but even if you do highroll all the shamans with all rush minions can still clear

Played this exact deck and didn't draw chenvaala for about 7 games in a row. First game I finally drew it at turn 7 and in that whole time didn't draw an evocation or a mana elemental for extra spells. Fucking annoying
Haven't won a single game with this. Never getting Chenvalla and Mana Cyclones.
You could try Sandbinder to draw out your elementals, perhaps!
