UPDATE 2: Turns out this video isn't nearly as well planned as I thought it was. I'm gonna be making a third version that's less crap but has the good ideas. Gonna keep this one up anyway because it's important to be able to look back upon my learning process
In short: I split each section into multiple more manageable parts and used AI vocal isolation on each separate part. I then bought the results back together and did some spectrogram editing for clean-up. In long: The in-game files for Bury the Light, unlike nearly all modern album releases including the album version of bury the light, are quadraphonic. This mean they have 4 channels: Front Left, Front Right, Rear/Surround Left and Rear/Surround Right. The surround channels contain background audio, while the front channels have background+main audio in this case. The surround channels are the first stem that I isolate separately. This video has an example of what they sound like: ruclips.net/video/lbX_JCyj57w/видео.html Next, by taking the game file and inverting the surround channels we get just the main audio, which is the second stem I use. It sounds like this: ruclips.net/video/drDBdJJ4p2A/видео.html It was just those 2 stems that I used for the first isolation, for this one I had a couple ideas. Firstly, I realised that since "immortal temptation" and "inherit the nightmare" have near-indentical instrumentals, I could use them together for phase cancelling. Some channel BS in audacity later and I had it. It wasn't perfect - it had bits of the other lyrics in there, but it was subtle enough to not be a major issue. Secondly, I looked at your phase cancelled edits and realised that, as the difference between the OST and game versions, I could use these. Due to the downloads you provided being unsuitable for my purposes (lossy format, ends too early), I recreated them according to my needs and then used them as the third stem I isolated from. Thirdly, I figured out how to use spectrogram editing to clean out some of the instruments left in by the ai. For the isolation software, I use x-minus, almost always the mdx v2 (voc) model.

It's funny that I just finsished my first fight with Vergil in DMC3 and you uploaded this video. Talk about a coincidence.
