Does anyone know where you can buy the square pan to order because I can’t find it in the United States but can I order it if anyone knows please let me know
Here in the US we call them griddles, essentially the same thing. A thin square pan 🙂. The main difference is that griddles are shallower but you can do the same thing with a bit of practice.
When you refrigerate it, you will need to microwave it before eating otherwise the texture of rice is terrible. But this specific onigirazu has lettuce in it which you don’t want to microwave. So I prefer not to refrigerate or make it without lettuce so that I can microwave.

Any Japanese grocery store in the US has it.
Can you make the onigirazu in advance and fridge overnight? Thank you.

I know this is a sin against all things fish, but how does fish roe fare in the microwave?
They sometimes explode and make big mess 😱
