same brother, fucker wound up on me, took the pencil and wrapped the tape and tried to straighten it out, didn't work. then limewire haha, I'll buy it once, after that, I'm stealing it.
@@allinink8077 thats was the only way to fix cassettes back in the day....i had a gbh cassette one time across my whole house trying to fix it......these jerkfoff kids today who were born in the 90s and 2000s have no clue.....lol
When NYHC made me get goose bumps it was so fucking raw and REAL... Not some boring "lets do more metal style riffing, and just try and sound heavier than the last band parody of itself" it seemed to turn into after late 80s??..Tbh still does, still get goosebumps when I play this. Blood , sweat and no tears , so fucking good..Seen em live 3 times now. Great gigs ,lots of energy ,Kollers are legends
@anti filthy commies I have to agree with that, pretty much. Main reason I lost interest in H/C when it turned into 3rd wave 'chugga chugga' (wait for the break down) etc, metal core. Lost me. No where near the fire and power of bands like Y.O.T , Chain of Strength, Straight Ahead , GB, Side by Side, BOLD or even the Abused. Hardcore was short for hardcore punk, not metal. But in a very short time , just after the 80s had ended people lost sight of that it seems. Very few 90s core bands grabbed me. Alone in the Crowd was def one, and Better than a Thousand and couple others , literally only like 2 more I can remember that sounded more like the real 80s stuff tho
Yeah new York hardcore did get pretty metalic. Sick of it all did too. Bumbs me out. I prefer the early 80's NYHC like ism squirm the headlickers killer instinct the mob the mad adrenaline o.d. Beastie boys. That's the new york hardcore that's priceless to me
Fan since 89. My first "hardcore" album ever. Seen them in 95(finally!) In Hampton Va at the Nsect club (rip). So, I'll address the 500 lb gorilla.....what the fuck happened to the original bassist? Craig's great, but I liked Rich's sound a bit better. Trivia: they sold around 150,000 copies of this and fairly fast, if my information is correct. As a hardcore band in the 80's that was a hell of a feat.
had this on cassette wore that shit out growing up
Same here. Everybody in town listened to it when I did😂

Saw them live in Quebec City, along with Madball. 2014. My girlfriend left me in the morning; got those two bands at night. A great day.
