I see zero threat to the officer and zero effort to give first aid after the suspect was down. This is murder. Hold the officer accountable and give the little justice that can be given to Mathios and his family. This is disgusting.
It's deeply sad to see how law enforcement worldwide is using brutal and lethal force just to maintain the status quo, instead of doing what they are paid to do, supposedly,while getting money from our taxes. RIP to all the people who have been killed by racist police and freedom to all the falsely or unjustly accused. I lost a friend to police violence years ago and the lack of news coverage was pretty alarming...Our country seems to be pretty good at keeping these things out of the public eye and I otherwise probably would have never heard about this. either way we’re all agreeing cops are using excessive force. if people have to use race to drive the point, so be it cause it’s been proven with tons of evidence. if people don’t, then so be it cause that’s also been proven with a lot of evidence. either way if we all agree the same end goal, the means and conversations to get there shouldn’t be told to just “stop”

According to stats canada, Blacks are 4.7x more likely to be stopped/frisked by Police. Indeginoius people are 6.3x more likely.
