Wow , so amazing. It's so inspirational watching these professionals work. They create a true beauty, while remaining full of vigour and retaining their sense of fun.
It seems to be so difficult to get these period set, action adventure dramas to feel like more than just actors in costumes surrounded by detailed sets and spectacle. This film did all of that, practically for the most part, but also executed the character dynamics and moment to moment tension so well. I was really looking forward to this being available in America since over a year ago and for the most part it exceeded my anticipation. Very old fashion storytelling in a good way and I do hope this eventually gets more attention and recognition. Only one or two places where any processed shots or use of green screen became noticeable and the rest was so well done that it didn't really bother me and that alone is more than outstanding in comparison to the expensive trash that 80% of todays Hollywood blockbusters are criminally guilty of.
Looks great. As a fan of the USSR film from 1978 I like that Vince Cassel looks a lot like Mikhail Boyarsky in this role. Can't wait to watch it here in The States.
I feel like I've been waiting forever for this to come out so I can watch it, while everyone else has already seen it. Is this going to be released with English subtitles anytime this year 😢
It’s truly garbage in English dub. I just rented it and got 10 min in before calling to get a refund. The English dub removes the spirit and authenticity of the film unfortunately. Please , don’t take my word for it, see it for yourself. Via VUDU
What a brilliant movie,my only criticism is the shaky camera work in a few fight scenes, otherwise fantastic. With a small budget you succeeded where mega bucks Hollywood has failed.
I think if you want to make visually realistic swordfight and emphasize both on the protagonist but also the opponent's skills some shaky camera required for it brings more tension
I'm always up for another 3 Musketeers movie, but IMO opinion, from all I have seen, the 93' Disney with Kiefer, Charlie, Chris and Oliver was the best... again, just my opinion.

Bb-but the shaky camera adds to the trepidation and the raw adrenaline, making it appear like we are there, with them :((
Where can I watch this?!?!? Looking on streaming and Amazon... Nothing

It's a fun movie but really not faithful to the original story. This one is much Closer 😊
This is just part 1, part 2 is coming in November and is called The Three Musketeers: Milady
Where's the rest of it? It's 27 minutes long.
0:24 Quelqu'un a-t-il la musique du chants des moines de cette scène ?
@@AuxaneST Juste un commentaire inutile aussi :) Chant grégorien ou pas, il a bien un titre ^^
