Dude….Great video!! Interesting and i learned a few things!! Much appreciated and great job on the video and even more killer for sharing!! Thank you!!
Another great video Keith with some great tips. I always say if someone’s complaining or hating on you you’re doing something right. PS I’ve heard of people using up to half a bottle of pure anise. So for the ones complaining about amount of drops. Drop til your heart tells you so 😂
Thanks Wyatt. I don’t think they were hating, truth is in the successes with the cure and formulas. Lots and lots of pics coming in from drano, mouth of the wind and willamette over the last few weeks as the coon shrimp fisheries are well under way up here 👍
Hey Keith, I have 25 quarts of cured coonies cured in another product and would like to re-cure some of these with USC. Probably going to give it a shot but would value your opinion, All your info is much appreciated!!!
Appreciate you giving it a shot. I can’t say I’ve recured my coonshrimp from one cure to another but you could try one jar and see what happens. I’d drain juices and start over following the instructions with my Ultimate shrimp Cure. Let me know how it goes
When it comes to tributaries and bank fishing I either float fish, plunk or drift fish in the deeper holes for the kings. But a float with eggs/coon shrimp or coonshrimp can produce great results. Are you brand new to it all? Hit me up and I’ll try and get ya dialed in. 360-606-2195 Keith
I personally get mine from Edge Rods Pro Shop in Woodland WA as they sell by the pound. There are other places you can source them in larger quantities like Rays Bait and D&G bait company.
Yeah the water from the anchovy, sardine or tuna can has those lipids molecularly reduced from the pressure cooking of it. I’ve had success with it for sure. The ones in oil can be the hot ones too.
Glass is my preferred method. I’m sure plastic would be fine too. I have never tried freezing them so not sure what would happen. With the solution being so high in salt I’m not sure it would actually freeze.
@@Ultimateshrimpcure thank you for you quick response. Your videos are excellent, very informative as I have a new appreciation for coon shrimp and salmon fishing. Keep up your hard work , we appreciate it.
Spring chinook is open in to He lower Columbia river and willamette, as the season ramps up the fishing g above bonneville will kick off, usually around the first week of May. It’s my understanding the Yakima river will get their first years return this year of spring chinook, I do believe I read that a short while back and am looking forward to trying it.
@@BaylorBeauchampGolf why would I have issues when a manufacturer or guide says this is what I use!! Then hides a part of what they add. They want an edge over the everyday fisherman. Makes you buy more product or buy more seats in their boat(guides).
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and info Keith. Love your products and I'm experimenting with different scents.
Absolutely! That’s the fun part, don’t be afraid to test and find your own scent formulas…. Don’t be afraid to share 😉
Finally, the video we have all been waiting for!
Thanks for sharing all of your wisdom to us I really appreciate it from one hard core prawn fishermen to another
My pleasure, I’ve got lots left to share…. I love teaching and can’t wait to see all the successes 😁
I'm looking forward to springer season and trying some of these tricks out! Much appreciated!!
Enjoy! They will change the game 😁
Love obtaining new information. I would love to see you put out a signature scent/blend with procure. All these products are out of this world 💯
Noted! Yeah, I’m working behind the scenes with some next level stuff. Will do a video on test and trials with it soon… 😁

You’re welcome. Looking forward to seeing the successes 👍
Awesome video, some great content. Thanks for sharing
Absolutely, love sharing and excited for the springers to show and see all the successes!
Awesome as always, thanks Keith
Glad you enjoyed it…. Time to fill the freezers with arguably the best eating salmon in the world… 😁
Ive also used tuna belly and a herring fillet and sardine fillet in my bottles too
Nice, yes tuna belly is another super good bait fish to use. It absolutely can destroy the spring chinook too!

Thanks for the info! Any tips for fishing the Clackamas from the bank for Chinook? What setup do you think works best in that regard?

@@Ultimateshrimpcure Thanks! I'm up North in Kingston
I like to dehydrate my anchovies/sardine and then use a coffee grinder to make powder. 1TBSP of powder per 1 quart jar.
Nothing wrong with that and worth exploring more, I’ve used dehydrated stuff in the past but really crave the oils for my stuff…. 😁
You ever add the water from the anchovie tin into your mix?
Yeah the water from the anchovy, sardine or tuna can has those lipids molecularly reduced from the pressure cooking of it. I’ve had success with it for sure. The ones in oil can be the hot ones too.
Can you store the shrimp in plastic jars or is glass jar the best choice? Can you freeze your cured shrimp or does freezing ruin your cpshrimp

You bet…. Use my 30+ years of trial and error and go make it happen 😁
Great video bud
Thanks 👍
What dates is spring king? Is the Yakima open? Trying to get into runs other than fall which i started fishing consistently 2 years ago

Dont forget krill powder or liquid🤘
Yes another thanks a great additive and smell, I don’t use it as much personally but have had friends do great with it for sure
Weird how you hid the anise drops. Everything else you showed how much you dropped in. Just sayin….
Wasn’t hidden. Look at the dropper, it was cold and crystallized so it wasn’t coming out easily. 👍
@@Ultimateshrimpcure just wondering why you put your hand in front while dropping. As compared to the other scents.
He literally counted 7 drops, unless you have trust issues I think he used 7 drops 😂😂😂

Ya that was a bit suss to me too.you know he put more then 7 drops in it 🤣
we sell this at Mazama in Eugene
Yes, lots of people have reached out from the Umpqua River and surrounding areas with great successes with it 👍
