Yes sir, you are correct. These were introduced before they had a dedicated cut-off saw like the current TS420. They basically just took one of their most powerful chainsaws, the 076 in this case, and adapted it to a cut-off saw. This thing is a beast. Apparently you can put up to a 16" blade on it. This saw has more power than the newer TS420/410 cut-off saws that are the standard today.
Yes indeed. The ones they make today such as the TS420/410 are a feather compared to this monster. Really gives the arms a work out. It's a beast however and has way more power.
