Star Citizen is an open development, crowd funded project from Cloud Imperium. Consisting of 2 games, Squadron 42 a single player, story driven campaign putting you in the middle of the Vanduul attacks as an up and coming UEE Navy pilot, and Star Citizen, a highly detailed
first person MMO set within a persistent universe where there are no limits. This includes, space, and ground aspects, massive spaceships with full interiors and interactions, a full dynamic economy which reacts to the players actions allowing for anything you can imagine.
It is all being built on the StarEngine (a modified version of Amazon's Lumberyard Engine).
Please bare in mind that this is heavily WIP and in an alpha state in which much of the foundational tech to make it a reality is still being developed. Both games do not have set release dates yet but you can play the alpha build for the PU MMO which makes consistent progress
with quarterly patch releases throughout the year.
I am an independent content creator and a fan of the game, I am not paid by Cloud Imperium however I do accept ships from them to giveaway to my community but this will by no means influence my opinion or what I say and believe about the project.

first thing i will do in 3.24 is fly my catterpillar to the nearest outpost, buy a full load of cargo for it, and spend 5 hours loading it all in by hand
You ought to use a mule instead.
why would you want to do that
I'm waiting anxiously with my Ironclad jpg for you to finish. It will be the best 15 hours when it comes out someday...
watch me loading full Carrack
That's hilarious! The new mechanics will encourage more multi-crew ops though. I am definitely here for that.
In 3.24 the first thing I plan to do is to get into my persistent hangar and customize the crud out of it! Then play with all the new cargo features 😂
Box fort?
@@valkyrie1689 Box fort!
I really like how you get straight to the information without five minutes of intro and hype beforehand!
Can't wait to drive around the hangar in a Mule, moving boxes around
Quick and precise recap and update! Love it! Im stoked to watch the ships come up from the floor. Then proceed to load cargo for hours on end. And see where the hopefully new cargo missions will take me.
Can't wait to just hang around in my hangar and looking at ships and loading it up at the same time
Like many before me have stated, the first thing I will do in 3.24 is fly my biggest cargo ship to the nearest place selling stuff, buy a full load, then enjoy the loading and unloading process
I think it's good that CIG is showing the people working behind the scenes. It should set everyone's minds at ease that even though progress at times seems painfully slow, there is real work being done by people who care about the game and not just some cash-grab tech demo. I personally can't wait for the personal hangars. Well, I guess I can - and will - wait, but I'm eagerly anticipating. MUST. BE. PATIENT! GRRR!
When 3.24 goes live, the first thing I do will be the first thing I do every patch, apply my paints to all my ships and vehicles. It's been a royal freaking PITA ever since the "Delivery" mechanism was added to the game and you could no longer apply paints to vehicles when you first log int. So, that's my first hour or two. Then I'll be hitting Kel-To and decorating my Hangar. I need a bar. And my Jukebox, liquor cabinet, lockers, aquarium, and towel.
I've played this game since it was just a hangar, so getting persistent hangars in 3.24 does feel like the closing of an era and the beginning of a new one. Can't wait!
Just to say I much prefer your calm and straightforward update videos to those of some other more, erm, strident individuals. Keep up the good work :)
In the ISC covering the delay in freight elevators, Chad McKinney really made it seem like they were close to being done. I wonder how it could have gone from that to this in a little over a month.
in 3.24 I will definitely load up vehicles onto ships! I've wanted to do that from the hanger for so long
First time in 3.24 I'm definitely checking which ships can fit at the same time in the new hangar. I'm all about the cargo life (exploration & passengers if it ever comes out) so I am quite excited for this.
I'm going to enjoy having a hanger that's mine. 1st step into feeling like I have a base to return too.
3.24 will be most welcome just to have all the core elements working, 3.23.1 has been very stable, smooth and great for general use. Now!, after sitting through some of the 9/10 yr old vids, to think those poor sods were strung along for all those yrs, additionally with the added torture of walking around those hangars, looking at ships they can't yet fly, and even now, some of that 'tech/containers/features' have just been added. Yeah for the vets, it must seem like waking up from a coma.
The changes to cargo will be a game changer in .24. I will definitely be taking advantage of the new tech to move some goods!
I can't wait to be able to fill up my cargo elevator with mine. Saddle bags and then do a mass transport to a refinery.
For me, the first thing I plan on doing with the patch, if/ when it gets released, is see what decorations are going to work and which ones I'm going to need to trade back in for credit to buy either decorations that do work or skins for some of my hangar. After that, probably get back into mining to stock up on minerals
I'm excited for the cargo hauling missions. They are sorely needed.
First thing I'm going to do is get some cargo boxes and get some of my loot sorted out so I can figure out what to sell and what needs to be saves for my org. That way I can have a better way to get gear distributed to who needs it. Will make trading and restocking crew members soo much better!
The plan is to test the limitations of the new hanger system (and possibly setup a mule stunt course).
Love your vids, first thing I plan on doing is customizing my hanger, can't wait to make it my own
First thing I’m going to do is test the new hanger. See how it works. Excited for cargo missions also.
First thing to do - enjoy that I also have a small C1 and dont need to start testing loading/unloading with a caterpillar or c2 :)
For 3.24 I shall become a hermit in my own personal hanger. Can't wait to set it all up, find a bug somewhere, have to then set it all up again, then rinse and repeat :D. The true testing experience!
Like everyone else, I am going to spend some time with the hangar. This is going to be great. It will also open the door for item purchases relative to personalizing the space.
One thing that concerns me with 3.24 is the caterpillar.
I love that ship, but with cargo being available in fixed sizes, I'm worried the caterpillar will be really harmed by not fitting the 32 SCU boxes.
The first thing I'm going to do is see what the cargo situation is like in terms of box availability under 32 SCU sizes.
I agree; the weapons in SC are excellent. I plan on chilling in my hangar for an unreasonable amount of time once 3.24 releases, just like I used to in the Hangar Module. Maybe we can get the Graycat jumps and gun range back!
3.24 - When deployed the first thing ill be doing is playing around and testing all the new features ASAP!Playing around with my hanger and seeing how much crap i can fit in it! I am a loot goblin when I am in the PU and will have many storage boxes all sorted and into different boxes per item type I cannot wait! I also really hope they bring in blockade runner event!
Can't wait for cargo. Going to RP as OSHA. Make the cargo loading process take even more time!
Incredibly talented, the weapon design team. I'm very impressed with the looks of these, especially the crossbow. I cannot wait to get my hands on these in the PU.
Persistence hangar, decking it out and my ships
3.24: First, there will be Cargo missions, seeing how they will work and how much fun they can be. Additionally, they probably have very good payouts. Furthermore, I believe they will help get used to the new inventory and cargo system
Really keen to decorate my hanger and build a wall of NPC (and Pirate) bodies
Great work. I've been dying to use these personal hangers. I have the logistics kind of game play.
The first thing I'm gonna do in 3.24 is dust of my old Freelancer Max and start loading it up box by box in my hanger and see how long it takes😁
I enjoyed last week's ISC. I hope they do something similar for armor in the future.
Definitely trying out the cargo hauling in 3.24 and seeing what ships do it with the least headache
I'm really interested in the persistent hangars, I wanna fill them up with plushies, and spend a lot of time experiencing the loading and unloading of cargo.
I'm going to get out all my ground vehicles and race around the hanger in them. Then load them on to ships. Can't wait.
Agreed 100% about the weapons, they look and feel amazing and it’s fun to use them. I would like more mercenary missions variety, I didn’t expect it but I love picking a couple of missions, flying to destination and disembark to run them 👌
The main reason I use the P4-AR is because I can find them everywhere for sale or as loot, and more importantly its ammo. So I got in the habit of buying the gun I recognized the name of and it seems so did everyone else. It's the old "nothing succeeds like success" fallacy that put it on top, a successful branding more so than a better weapon.
Looking forward to getting back to mining. Especially the stuff that goes boom.
Only just subscribed... I didn't realise I hadn't already. Definitely the best info for the beloved game.
The first thing I will be doing in the next patch is testing out my reclaimer (Phat Boy) to see how cargo impacts that game loop. 😊
I can't help but wish they spent more time trying to fix things like docking requests and corpses falling through planets than hyper realistic physics for a space crossbow that 4 people will use
Excellent, concise video as always! Can't wait for the cargo elevators, they're going to make a monumental difference
The first thing I'll do is test the storage and persistent hangar. After that, I'll try the new cargo features.😊
We,(My Wife Lady Tarragon, and I), plain on setting up at 2 different Cities, Most like her at New Babbage, be at Orison or ArcCorp. Giving us 2 Base from which to work our Cargo and Salvage Operations.
Круто , у Вас есть организация?)
@@Wlad-nc9ys We do, but it is in Place holding mode at the moment. I do not have time to manage it currently.
I would love to have a "silent" weapon to do missions in stealth. The crossbow could change a lot.
Awesome video as always. I can't wait to test the changes to hangars in 3.24.
The first thing I'm going to do when I get in will be the same thing I always do with a new patch... move all my stuff to an out-of-the-way station to make that station my home base for the patch lol. I don't like being based on a planet, I'm a spacer 😛
I anticipate we will see the new P8 in 4.0 as well as the other new weapons. But till then I'm sure Ill be decorating my hangar once 3.24 goes live.
Can’t wait to make my hangar my own
3.24 I would love to find some way to Showcase my hornet mII! Thank you for all the great videos!
I cannot wait to check out the personal hangars
When 3.24 releases, I look forward to is checking out my personal Hanger and what it can do. Can we place our Subscriber Flair furnishings in it. Will the Jukebox finally work again? When do we get our Industrial/Asteroid, Aero View, and York & Revel Hangers?
Very nice summary of the ISC. Thanks for the info and the giveaway.
First thing will be to get into personal hangar et customize it like my home :D
Hoping 3.24 will be a general clean up as well, Looking forward to our personal Hangars - our first kind of own living space. o7
P8 for the win. I already love the P4. In 3.24 I'm gonna put a bunch of Cruz and Pilsners on a crate in my hanger and invite friends over to my little patch of the 'Verse.
I am going to customize it with the different stuff available!
Hi, the first thing I will do into the persistant hangar , make a box corridor to give a very industrial look.
First thing I am doing is customizing my hanger to the satisfaction of my ocd, then, invite my buddies over to hangout.
I was never a fan of homemade guns, I want the professional stuff. But the Behring looks great!
With the new patch, setting up my own persistent hangar will be dope.
in 3.24 i cant wait to customize my hanger and do so much more with cargo since its my favorite part of the game
First in 3.24 I’m taking my C2 to daymar and loading up on cargo at mining outpost and looting ninetails for all their weapons to put in my hanger.
I'll spend a ridiculous amount of time in my personal hangar to outfit my Carack. After that probably a lot of salvaging, mining, and looting
Seems like we have waited so long for a persistent "home" space in the verse. Probably spend hours just moving stuff around 😃
what i would do during 3.24 is test out the new futures and get cargo to test out the hangers
first thing I'm going to try is the next Master modes to see how it feels compared what it was before.
3.24 umm I will check out my Hanger and Friends Hangers and get back into playing the game, hoping that I can store components from Salvaged ships, including weapons. Thanks, SMB
I am planning on finding that crossbow and sneaking around with it after I pull up some cargo elevator stuff in my personal hangar lol
I am completely new to Star Citizen, and just getting into it. So am honestly not sure what I will do when 3.24 releases, but I am very much interested in doing more deliveries, and I would try to find someone and join them on their adventures in a big ship.
First thing in 3.24 build my rep as a hauler, to use a Hull-C
Looking forward to 3.24 and hopefully more stability
I really hope they actually talk to people with real world gun knowledge about more than just how the guns look and animate...
In my case, the first thing i'll do when 3.24 lands is remove the dust of my hull-c and hercules and start doing cargo missions
First thing I'll do in 3.24 is see if I can customize my persistent hangar with all the subscriber rewards I have sitting in my account.
I hope they sell a version of the crossbow on the pledge store or for subscribers. I wasn’t around when they gave those out and I like to have my favorite gear account bound.
Can't wait to start using my corsair for small cargo running and missions. Will we be able to spawn small vehicles too?
First thing I plan to do is go full SIMS on my hanger!
Most looking forward to personal hangers finally coming. At least 2nd SM test was better, but still a lot of desync
The first thing I’m doing in 3.24 is decorating my hanger module
def excited for the cargo update!!
First thing Im going to do in 3.24 is test hangers and have fun
3.24 first thing is checking out my hanger.
first thing i will do in 3.24 is start mining in the prospector to figure out how the saddle bags are going to work and load up my C1
In 3.24 I will spawn all my ships, one after another, just to see how they will be delivered by the elevator.
I'm no different than everyone else 😂 first thing I'm doing is exploring and setting up my personal hanger.
I sure hope we can fit a ursa medivac in the Zeus...
I can't wait for the new cargo update because I plan on stockpiling salvage and selling it in one huge batch. Love the new weapon showcase though especially that crossbow.
first thing I will do in 3.24 is steal a bunch of props and weapons from distribution centres and UGFs and deck my persistant hanger out to look like an armoury!
PU is really buggy atm, but yes, pulling the cargo and hanger update back out from the code, in order to release 3.23.1, will cause many bugs.
Hopefully, those bugs will get Automatically fixed with 3.24, when that code gets back into the current build.
I am looking forward for the 3.24 update
I will decorate my hangar and make it my home
I will be trying to use the Hull C in 3.24. Hopefully they fix the issues with it soon...
just imagine what they're not showing us yet :D also the plan? bunkers and salvage.
Honestly I am kind of excited for the added labour of playing tetris with the cargo boxes when loading so that is probably what I will be doing
Ok, I love the Pyro SMG. I'll have a bit of Rust (the game) with my Star Citizen thank you. Thanks for your wonderful work SMB. The first thing I'll due in the new patch is to fire up the old prospector and get back to the grind. o7
Can't wait for... 3.24. The new name suprised me, but easier then before.
