I like the Goo Goo Dolls. Have since Boy Named Goo. Even saw them live a few times. What Ive noticed though is thatas the years go by, Johnny now sings the Hits differently. Now he sings these songs like a pop star on Idol.... lol. still great, but I prefer he go back to singing these tunes straight..

I met John wow, they wer in Manhattan and at night the drummer to the goo goo dolls would come to Duane Reade ,so one night about 11:00 to 11:30 at night John from the goo goo dolls walks in with the drummer ,omg LOL I lost it I was so happy to see him .I remember what he bought I was the cashier an he gave me his signature on a receipt. John I live you know this area well East side BUFFALO. You ever come to Buffalo 😂 come say hi

Crosley’s Toy Party we def had a great view standing right at the front looking up at Johnny, this band are so awesome live, I was lucky to win a free meet and greet again, so we were there so early at the venue to meet them it’s how we got a front row view.
Wow! You got to meet them? Can you tell us what that was like? I’ve looked up VIP tickets and they were like $500. Sounds like a great experience.

I’m a massive fan and it was an awesome experience, although I was so excited and shaky as I approached them, but hugs made it alright with they!
They say never meet your ( music) hero’s but both Johnny and Robbie were so friendly and funny, the first time was only a small group of us so I had time to chat about their music, gigs, UK, second time was much briefer. Now that you have to pay to see them it’s become much more difficult to chat and so brief as they are in demand. TBH I’m old school so never paid to meet anyone, I’ve always waited around to meet bands and get things signed, not all musicians are friendly to their fans like Goo goo dolls, which is another reason to love them more! 🎸🎶🤘🎤🖤
