Also a good defense tactic against like 5 battleships is get everyone to spawn a heavy cruiser at one island and defend the battleship while regenerating health from being next to island and bombarding the enemy battleships or just be fodder for the other enemy to waste time shooting while the carrier spawns bombers to hijack the battleships or destroy their health though watch out for aa guns that strafe friendly ships to kill enemy hijackers dont hide inside a enemy turret as enemy aa bullets go straight through their friendly ship hull also i suggest you dont usd bombers for bombing alone but more as sacrifices that disrupt the enemy as much as it can by hijacking the ship dont bomb them as it may cause them to flee if they are on low health and those points will be wasted instead bomb them if enemy ships are too low in health and can't retreat and mainly use planes to defend capital ships because aa guns have blindspots which can be exploited easily with no enemy aircraft trying to kill them so having a plane defensive force is good as planes can go high enough and be unreachable by aa and easily turn off their engine to descend quickly and turn it on again to bomb within seconds and carriers should be the last ship rushing into battle otherwise they will be destroyed by enemy cannons or enemy aa will strafe the carrier floor killing all people trying to spawn planes to counter
Thank you for these videos! I just started playing yesterday, and while I managed to figure it out on my own, this video would have saved me some confusion! I did learn more about how much damage the ship and plane armaments do though!
Some more interesting things i noticed: Different parts of a ship take different amounts of damage, for example you one shot a submarine if you hit it on the front Missiles and torpedoes do around 1000 damage on the backside of a ship or when you hit turrets Same thing applies with shells. And i don't think the light turret does 1000, sometimes it does 800 sometimes closer to 300 Heavy turrets and all non-turret weapons set a cosmetic fire that only goes off when a ship is healed Torpedoes travel far Submarines are as slow as capitals

Did some calculator work to find the best anti ship turret Light: 1x1000/2=500 dps Medium:2x850/3=566 & 2/3 dps Heavy: 2x 950/4 = 475 dps Medium turrets are the best turrets followed by lights and then surprisingly heavies
Did some mental work for which turret does the most dmg (per shell) Light = 1000 dmg, 1 shell. Medium = 850 damage, two shells. 850 divided by two = 425 dmg (per shell) Heavy = 950 dmg, 950 divided by two = 475 dmg (per shell) Anyway, light turrets do the MOST dmg out of all the turrets.
@@jasonterry8225 As a person who playes WoWs and WT i like more realistic games with better graphics and the only naval game close to these is dead ahead with its graphics and unique playstyle it is based on cooperation

So basically battle ship turrets suck
